did you honestly thought you would be able to kill jedi just because you are MBH? you might get lucky and get one that is afk, been incaped by pikets, pvp or in a duel... you might even get lucky and hit a poor padawan that has been grinding for 3 days and barely has any skills.. to take on the big leagues you are going to need lots and lots of practice... meaning you will be failing a lot of missions.. you will need the best of the line equipment.. specially if you go against anyone with a good saber that is either pre-cu or filled with pre-cu pearls... trust me i have a 745 dmg saber and my HLR on my alt has higher min dmg with a pup than my saber but then again i make my own weapons.
you will need to adapt your template to your game style not you adapt to the template... don't go with a template because someone tells you it rocks it might not work for you... hardest fight i've had was against a bh/doc/pistols not sure what in what but he was the only one to end up the fight in a draw..
just hand in there and keep practicing.. if you have any jedi friend ask them to duel you.. train, practice and try new tactics.. you will defently need AB sliced armor for the big sabers or you will be getting beat to a pulp. it's just practice.. it's pvp not killing npc's most jedi have done quite their fair share of pvp before they went jedi and know how things work.. i used to pvp a lot before i unlocked like 3 months before the CU damn i actually had a higher pvp rating with my melee stacker than i do now with my jedi i know rating means jack as i could get it all back by simply standing in eisley and pay 10k to every noob to db them....
keep at it and sooner or later you will get the hang of it or maybe not.. maybe you are not made for jedi hunting.. but you will need to keep going at it before you find out...
just my 2 cents
Im calling BS on this post! First you say you have 745 max damage saber, so that would put your minimum damage around 650. Then you say you have an ALR that has a higher min damage than your saber with a pup which would put you at higher than 650 min damage on your ALR. I want a screenie.

Guns blazing is the only tactic available with the /duel exploit unless they are already pvping.

It's possible with a damage pup which will slow down the speed.

also, when your markkills you, don't tell them that you were just testing a new toon or template. why does every bh say that ?

ROFL
ok my saber min is 644 most sabers have a range between max and min diference of 101-99 dmg
second i don't have a ALR... it's a HLR "Heavy Lightning Rifle" and here is the screenie.. might want to start trusting more other players not everyone post stuff just for posting. oh and my rifle is not by chance the best around on the server but it's good hits real hard
My HLR
PS I don't use or have any speed mods.. when i need them i just borrow a belt from a buddy of mine with +25 to rifle and gen range speed. compensates for the weapon being slower than regular rifles.

I agree with you to an extent, but most Jedi have about 50 million macros hotkeyed on their toolbar, I have gotten a few by email, and I saw a few of my friends who have jedi running a bunch of macros to eat all the foods and get themselves ready for battle within seconds.

Lol - once I was 60m away from my mark spinning a lair, under cover, waiting for the moment, when a lair spawned righ next to me and in 5 seconds I have 8 jedi standing around whilst I was lying on the floor....I just said "Can anyone help me find my contact lens". Oh, how we laughed....

there are basically two kinds of jedi.
grinders and finished template
with the grinders these are generally esy marks if you can find one not hiding or just doesnt simply run away.
the finished tempaltes even the post-cu ones have pretty much nothing to do BUT pvp. they tend to have a LOT of experience since they spend the majority of their time fighting. and even amongst these there are some (pre-cu) that have spent nearly a year or more pvping with their templates. these are the jedi you will get in general if they do not run away.
you have one day of pvp experience most liekly fighting against people who have months if not a year or more at it. just be patient and play and learn. your not going to take on and defeat someone who has far more experience than you in a single day.

i got mbh yesterday, since then i have fought about 12 jedi, i won 1 fight cuz they payed my off. i am buffing from a doctor before i go, and eating the right foods, most of the time i ask to get in the group they are in, then attack, never works, any suggestions?
Thats because you JUST got MBH... See thats the problem with BH's... " i got MBH today and i still get pwned... what am i doing wrong?"
Learn it... somethings work some don't and what good for one player may not suit you as well..
p.s. we call it experience... not to be confused with xp

If you just got your tag, them don't let it get you down that your approach isn't catching them off guard, or that your not winning. Us Jedi are a paranoid bunch so catching most of us by surprise isn't all that easy, and although were not as powerful as we used to be, the FotM Jedi is going to give your pistolieer buildfits if he's not in trouble before you open up on him. OTOH, is you like pistols and the specials it gives you, don't change from it. The BH/CM build may be the FotM for BHs, but some of my most frustrating fights have been against the pistoliers that really know their game.
The best thing I can suggest, is learn everything you can about Jedi.
Learn what skills we have available to us and why we chose to take them or pass on them in favor of something else.
Learn what combinations of skills we can pack into a template (ie. a Jedi that has AI and can KD with saber throw cannot have Stasis or Choke).
Hang out in MO (or where ever the Jedi play on your server)grouped with a Jedi friend and watch what they do. If you don't know what an effect or icon is, ask.
Get into gring groups with Jedi you NOT hunting so that you can watch how they operate and learn from it. When a BH shows up to take out one of the Jedi in your group, watch the fight, and watch close. Watch what foods, states, attacks & tactics other players use and how well it works (or fails).Practice stalking a few Jedi with no intention of attacking, just to refine your technique.
Dual with Jedi that trust you. Ask them for their input.
And above all, once you think you know everything there is to know, and you have the best of everything, be ready to loose. Even with the best skills, technique & equpiment, you will still loose many of your encounters.
