Done that before CU with mouse droids

Still doing it

Still worth the explosion.....

Just prepare to /duel yourself since you're quite sure they will "test" you.... and that would be you opportunity to make the droid blow away

Okay purely hypothetical bit of fun here.

Say Im travelling with a guildy on the way back to the city from some content. Fly into theed and theres some leet talking Jedi duelling and pwnzoring.

So would itbe griefing for both my friend and Ito flick up the MBH tags and each send a R3 droid following a npc in their general direction?

I know Ive got a sick sense of humour, but with all the /duels going on is sending an R3 unit in someones general direction griefing?

LOL !! sounds like fun. Jedi would probably consider this griefing. To them, taking their mission is sometimes considered griefing. Seriously though, I wouldn't think this would be considered griefing, but definitions vary according to who you ask.

It's definately not griefing. Griefing would be if you repeated killed the same Jedi, you and your buddy. Without the FRS and perma overtness, I don't see how that's possible. Even if the Jedi is stupid enough to go overt repeatedly and attack you, that's their choice to do it, so no griefing.

As far as harassment with the droids? Possibly, it depends on the CSR's interpretation of the events. That's even if you get reported.

I've been accused of griefing when a Jedi trys to see if I have their mission by using /duel.... I have a macro that I hit when a /duel request comes in that goes like this:

/duel

/underhandshot

/end

/spit

/say Stupid Jedi......

I just think it's as funny to turn the tabels on them. I've sent droids following them before just to see what happens. Or when I see a Jedi in a group, I'll just stand there at 30-50m or so watching them. Sometimes I'll food up just to spook them. It's great to watch em run. And I've definately accepted the money that them or their group mates offer to drop the mission, even when I don't have the mission!

Back when I just used my droids as fun things to look at, I used to send my protocol droid after random people all the time--just set them to follow and go about my business. Only one person ever even noticed. I just explained that my droid "occassionally wanders off."

The argument that it's griefing because it makes Jedi think you have their mission really doesn't hold water because if there are other players around, they should suspect everybody anyway.

I have to say it, Im a terrible tease, in real life, and I cant help that crossing into the game sometimes, Not meaning any harm its just a bit of a laugh, realistically I cant in anyway hurt them, its just a bit of a rise. Watching Jedi run. I can appreciate to those who have seen one bol to many equipping your hlr and taking aim at a random npc behind and then shooting may also be considered harasement. I can see the point of view, but really a droid wandering in your direction harasement? By the same token is it harasement to target a jedi so you "look" at them or to walk in their direction, or to eat whilst looking at them?

Last night I ran into someone /crying at a incapped R3, in spatial at a starport, so as I passed by I gave it a quick bacta shot, turned out it was a bomb droid aimed at the person(non robed jedi)who had been /crying had a bit of a laugh about that (with the jedi in question).
