you need seeker droids lots of them. and I can't spell it but arykaniods droids. This is if you are going to start investigation line right away.

Some Advice from me: Max out your weapons xp first.. When I started bh missions they were so dang tuff I couldn't even finish the lowest ones.

Second. I am not sure if I would cap investigation at 10k first or not now. speeders make it a lot easier to find your bounty. What do other people think about this?

Hi all,

Just made Novice BH last night. Really don't have much of a clue how this works. First of all, what droids do I need, and where are some common places I can get them? Any estimates on their cost?

Also, what are BH missions paying these days?

Thanks,

Olek Nine

Try for the sticky thread to investigation at the top of the forum. But normally you get mission. Talk to the spy net operative, get ak droid, upload sinature. Then after about 4mins it tells you where the mark is. Head there and launch seekers.

Usually your AK droid tells you on which planet your mark is. When you're on your marks planet use seekers.
If you seeker tells you, your mark is not here, launch an AK again.

If you ak reports that your mark is not on planet you're doing something wrong.

When launching an Akryd probe droid....wait for the final countdown 5, 4, 3, 2, 1....as you see this final countdown...look high in the sky to the East, you will see the probe droid streaking down from space. Follow the trajectory and watch the explosion. Quickly move to the impact point and wait in the midst of the drifting smoke.

The Imperial Probot Base, will soon appear close by you. click on the probot and use option 3 on the radial menu...(option 1 does not work)....when you have uploaded the bio signature from the spynet operative, the probot will leave the planet and commence a search of the galaxy.

This is your time to move toa shuttle port or a starport nearest you, preparing to leave for a new planet.

A few minutes later, it will report the planet your mark is on. Go to that planet and immeadiatley use seeker droids to find and track your mark. Mark the location on the map where the marks is starting from....when the first seeker reports back..the mark will have moved a fair distance....draw an imaginary line from the starting position to the current position...looking for the Starport that is at the end of that line...that is where the mark is going.

You must beat the mark to the starport ofthe city of the marks destination. Or there will be others there to kill the mark (they are soemtimes aggro to everyone), or the mark will find a spot in a wall to hide (duel a friend and use point blank area shot or other AOE)..or the mark will hop to another planet (at inves level 3 or higher).

Use player cities to cut the mark off....and also use the speeder, it moves faster than the mark...(thank goodness for speeders and player cities...can't imagine how the old school MBH's did it).

If the mark is inivisible or missing..launch another Akryd to reset the visibility...if the seeker looses the mark, immeadiately launch another one, but move in the directionthe markwas last seen moving in.

Almost all of this, is in the original stickey'd directions on how to do the investigation.

Just wanted to check the price on crates of probes and seekers to see if it had changed for any reason. I sell mine for 5000c for crate of seekers, 7500c for a crate of probes. This is still reasonable, correct?

(And I just stocked my vendor on Tatooinewith about 1500 stacks today, btw. :smileyhappy

I used to pay 10k each. You seem reasonable.
