ah thanks for corrcting me... tis been a while since ive seen the new eps...


Im not saying we should have jedi, and well ok maybe i was wrong. But there such a huge attraction and money make for SOE that not putting them in a star wars mmo would be bad press and would lower there player count.

i run into tons upon tons of new people who always send me tells or whatnot saying "scus me, how do i become a jedi"

and with the new movies where anny and obi show off some skills the excitment of jedi was pushed further.
I personaly had to play a few days of JK:JA just to get the jediness outa my system.


If SOE were to drop jedi or was to never put them in, they'd lose good profit.

Except there are only 2 sith in the galaxy, a master and apprentice (currently palpatine and vader). Even then they are not true sith, the sith is a long extinct race, much like the mandalorians. The sith title they carry is more a form of religion rather than a true sith.

A dark, or imperial jedi in the game is not a sith.

/sarcasm Yeah, I play with that option on all the time, makes the game SO much better /sarcasm off.

Republic commando, now there was a refreshing change, I especially like the line from delta-38 "An elegant weapon for more a civilised age? Well guess what, times have changed."

That's funny, because I love having the Jedi activated. I find it exciting and challenging. And you CAN kill them. It just takes serious effort and strategy.

Battle Front has Jedi. No mention of playable characters, but they have Jedi.

I've wasted enough time with you. This game is no better off having people like you, as opposed to the Jedi you despise.

Anyhoo about BF i always play with jedi on, i love throwi ng a nade at darth and trying to fight while a jedi cuts down the comrades. it makes it thrilling and like the movies.

And yes they can be killed but its immensly difficult and generaly its the jedi on your side that does it, or at least tanks.

A summery of my thoughts:

There SHOULD be jedi. They should be rare and very tough. To hell with the timeline, jeid is part of the star wars experience. I mean if we mde things realistic its not like if anyone tried to be jedi there would be a loud voice saying "Sorry jedi dont work in this timeline"

Jedi should be rarer and harder to be and harder to beat none the less...

Also jedi shouldnt say lol, whenever they do i wince
