Alright well let me first say that I am a BH, and DO NOT own a jedi or plan to anytime in the near future. This is just a little rant of mine, so if you do not like reading rants, "Move Along."

I spent a good 30 minutes tracking my jedi as he traveling all over theed (looking at vendors I presume) until he finally reached theed. I was getting impatient, and my buffs were running out soon. I had never seen this jedi before in PvP, so I assumed that it would be a moderately easy/hard kill. I eat my normal foods and attack. Within seconds I realized what his template was, and was unable to move. "Stasis..", I muttered. To make a long story short, he won the fight. Whenever he would run low on force, the jedi would stasis me and sit down and meditate.

Now I made the title so that it would catch everyones' eye. Stasis, contrary to popular belief, IS NOT OVERPOWERED! After fighting him, I realized his really only advantage was having stasis. Stasis is the new anti-BH attack. So why is it not overpowered? Well because unless you have extremely organized PvP, it is useless in large-scale battles.

So to end this seemingly short rant, statis is not over-powered, it is just best against BH's.

Acutally I hardly ever use stasis on Bounty Hunters unless they jump when when I'm already PvPing - what stasis is best for is screwing up a Master Defender's day.

And yes, you're entirely correct in pretty much everything you say. If it's just me fighting a bunch of people stasis is very useful, but if it's a large scale battle, 90% of the time it's a complete waste of force because you're usually surrounded by noobs spamming area attacks or just not even paying attention to anything except how many shots they can get in on someone.

It breaks on damage, it can't be spammed, the force cost is horrendous and it's a master skill.... what anyone can ever find overpowered about it is quite beyond me.

Let a jedi stasis me. He is still dropping per tic anyways. If a jedi needs to stasis you one on one your going to win. The only reason too in a 1v1 fight is to regen or run. If he needs regen then he isnt doing a good job and if he's running... ill catch up to him eventually

It does allow jedi to get off one good attack plus a couple heals but most bh/jedi fights are a lot more than one hit =).

You must not duel MEnh's often. Stasis is an excellent tool in 1on1. Correctly timed with an AB/KD then stasis, you could land a very strong power hit. And if you miss, you have 20more sec to try again. Stasis is also good for breaking an opponent's rhythm. By putting that slight pause in where they cant KD recover, heal, or attack, it throws off an opponent's timing thus giving the Enhancer an advantage of being able to more effectivly chain their attacks more effectively.

PS

If an MEnh wants to get away from a BH there isnt much the bh can do about it. Unless the BH is MPistoleer with the 30sec stopping shot, the stasis will always let the jedi get far enough away to /channel and activate FR3.
