using echo means you dont have the extra alarmness of the alarm. It requires you to pay a bit more attension though

Hmmm... I'll have to try that /echo command when I get home. Probably just add it to my hot key macro as a reminder that duelist is almost up. Maybe even add a countdown like you didif this /echo works like I think it will. I just really hate all the beeping with that alarm.

Something like this:

/duelistStance;

/pause 27;

/echo DuelistStance up in3...;

/pause 1;

/echo 2;

/pause 1;

/echo 1;

It is if you're on that toolbar. I bind some common commands and attacks to certain keys so I can activate them no matter what toolbar I'm on. 'Ctrl+F' is my DuelistStance, 'Ctrl+X' is a /quickDraw;/criticalShot; combo, 'Ctrl+Z' is a /dump, etc. I think you get the idea.

That way, I can be on my food toolbar and still fight effectively. For me its easier than having those commands on the same slot on each toolbar and it doesn't take long to just make a habit of always hitting the same keys to execute a command.

Whats the command to macro the improved duelist stance? I know /dueliststance is for the standard skill - but does it differ for improved DS?

It's the same command, but I don't suggest macroing it. Since you can't move while DS charges, it can be deadly to pause every 30 seconds.

If you're going to macro Duelist Stance the only method I'd suggest is adding in a reminder to refresh Duelist Stance rather than one that will automatically execute the command for you. You'll often times find the macro screwing with the commands you're attempting to execute and you honestly don't want to stand there for the charge up every 30 seconds.
