1vs1 duels against a regular toon or a Jedi? Do you have to be completely self sufficient or can you rely on others? You can get all of the healing and buffing power out of doc 4/0/0/4 that you need. From there if you need debuffs you'll need 0/0/0/4 and alot of bio-suppression tapes to make them land. Dump the rest of the points into more offense.
People take CM 4/0/0/0 because it costs less than Doc 0/0/0/4 even though Doc has more healing potential (and infusion is pretty kick a$$). If fighting a Jedi the infusion will help you the most and being able to alternate between a BE enhanced Jab and improved Shot will give you all of the healing needed. Your biggest weakness is you MIND pool. Once its gone so are you.

I would say thew first one. You need to have two master proff. it helps a lot.
