Yep, pikes I would say is better in both aspects if I'm being honest.

For PvE /grinding as has been suggested pikes are far better for the area attacks (Sweep attack/spin attack)

I've been master swordsman and master pikeman and have actually dropped both, but kept 0040 pikes for the defences. I'm a tank so defence is more what I'm looking for. Even in grinding I still have the area knockdown. Personally I've found that having TKM/Master Doctor and 0040 Pikes is my personal preference as a grinding tank. Couple of CA's and my melee defence is 326 which I find acceptable. When combined with food and ICOB my melee defence is 926.

If you're not so concerned with the defence aspect of things then Pikes 0400 is probably better as you get the spin attacks then.

Yeh...if your going to **edit** a profession to become a Jedi, (which you shouldn't even bother with grinding considering Jedi post-CU = turd) then yes Pikeman FTW!! If you want to be the only viable in PvP and ever growing soon to be nerfed FotM Swordsman then yes ....SWORDSMAN FTW!!

At master you will have equal armor to a max stat battle armor suit, so anything less than master isn't worth it because then you might just as well wear armor.

The Innate armor is only worth it at TKM.

you shouldget /0/1/0/0 TK, though, for improved CoB.

Innate armor doesn't work with armor on. so it would be useless unless you get master

You might have to wait until after pub 24 for an answer that to that one, cripple attack might be a necessity with the whole upcomming snare thing, but otherwise I'd say Advanced leg sweep right now - KDs are necessary
