Thread: Infinite seeker droid.
Yes we get ignored on everything else but this they listen to. Although the change today was nice, why no response?
And as far as the helping your local DE, Almost every DE that I have done business with has left the game cause DE sucks. The one person that is left knows hes one of the few and is enjoying a hefty profit, because of that. But I fear he will loose intrest to.
Maybe they can bring back droid vendors
I remember how DEs were accused of 'price gouging' when those terminals for the droids were taken away. The terminals were ludicrously underpriced when you looked at what was involved in players crafting them, and for some reason some saw fit to blame Droid Engineers for this. There were some terribly venomous posts from a few guys calling themselves Bounty Hunters, and eventually charges were introduced. For a little while, there was a pretty happy synergy going between our classes. Well, it was nice while it lasted.

Charges were a good thing, but I think the permadeath on Droids was the best thing. If I was a DE, I'd be pushing for 'charges' on droids, like after a certain number of deaths, the droid is destroyed. Having the vitality on pets is good, since it decreases their HAM resists after a certain point, but since the modules on droids doesn't go down, I don't care when my droid goes BOOM.
I did feel kind of bad for the DEs because of this bug, but I had bought enough seekers to get me to master anyways, so the DEs did not lose any money. This resulted in me having a ton of seeker droids left over because I only used 1 seeker as I was working on Investigation 4. The DEs definately need some loving and this bug only hurt them more...
Well we have had our mission payouts raised so buying droids should not be a problem.
Also it is good to support the DE since most get to master and quit cause it sucks assssssssssssss
Someday there will be some sort of combat droids. And someone will have to build ships and speeders, who better than DE's.

OMG, I thought you were kidding. I am shocked beyond description. Have they been in a coma?
The Devs said they would look into this three months ago and obviously never did. Thanks for bringing it to my attention that it is still present. I will hound them until it is fixed.
This is an interesting post & it raises a few topics that I feel may be beneficially discussed.
Not all of us MDE's started as a DE. I had no clue you could buy seeker droids from a vendor at some point until I read this post.
What did they cost from the vendor?
What would you BHs like to pay for a crate of 5?
My pricing policy is to charge what I myself would be willing to pay but having no experience in Bounty Hunting, I'm somewhat at a loss. I like to think I charge a very low rate for my seeker crates but this has me wondering if it's a correct assumption or not.
