Thread: Cowardly BH's are worse than Jedi

I attacked one while he was killing a krayt....... the krayt got the deathblow hows that for annoying?
Yeah that happen to me once. now I wait for him to finish before I attack. Last time I did it, the Jedi thanked me for it too!
The problem is the fact that you actually can Deathblow and that it's required. It's like in Counterstrike when you do 99 damage and some TKer from your team misses you and hits him and gets the kill.
Especially for an MMO, the kill should go to the person or NPCthat did the most specials and/or most damage to their opponent. But I'm not riding 5 km just to have a Jedi run from me and purposely die from a Kimogila again so honestly tell me what is the point in bounty hunting any more? It's not fun to be the Jedi when you're hunted, or the BH when it's 100% impossible to kill your mark without spending a significantly unreasonable amount of time tracking them for a measly 250k credits to put in your ADK fund...
I actually killed a Jedi in the exact situation. I tracked my mark to Dant, and got to my mark just in time to see a group of Pikets incap him. I strolled over to the incapped body and DB'd. Not a single shot fired, and not a single hit taken. Nice little payoff too.
Was it wrong of me to kill him in such a fashion? Not in my opinion. My role is to hunt and kill Jedi. How, when, or why doesnt matter to me. AFK, Engaged in combat, taking a wee wee...dont matter. I'll use every advantage I can get short of exploiting or cheating.
I want to thank all the cowardly BH's for defending this tactic and confiming that most PvPrs donot PvP for the "skill", "danger"or the "challenge", but for the chance to Gank someong with no risk to themselves.
Thank you.

I appreciate everyones input, I can take criticism, and it's interesting to see how theBH community feels about it.
well bmill you don't know me, I have faced full temp jedi before and I have a win percentage of about 40%, you win some you lose some. Heaven forbid a BH makes an effort to use some type of tactics and make the game a bit more interesting. To explain what I was doing, I wasn't waiting for the Jedi to get weak and "hit him when he's down", I had plenty of opportunity to do that, I was listening to the jedi talk to other jedi in the group about his template, so then I would have a better idea of what skills he had. Plus I am attempting to make aJedi database for all the marksIfight that has what their skills are, so that I can reference it before heading into battle. I am sorry I dont' follow the same BH mantra you do of hoping pickets make a kill for me, I really didn't make the post to complain or call out other BH's, I didn't mean for it to look that way, you hunt how you want to it's your $15.00. I just wanted to see how the BH community felt about the issue, I am not saying it was right or wrong, my opinion is it was cowardly, everyone is entitled to think their own way.
Most of the BH's I know don't do the drive up DB and leave just to say YAY I made 250k credits, simply because it doesn't really give you an idea of how good you are. I saw BH the other day drive up to a jedi and announced to the jedi that he had his mission and told him not to run he will let him food up, and prepare if he stays to fight. The jedi was full temp and confident he would win, the BH won after a 30 minute fight. To me that was a good indication that the BH in questionwas superior to that particularjedi, I am not saying everyone should play that way or what not, but I think your a coward if you are scared that the jedi will drink some Vasarian Brandy and kick your azz, I am not saying dont' take advantage of a situation that'sin your favor. Anyway it's just a game BMILL, I think you are overestimating your importance by calling someone childish and immature, if all you want out of being a BH is a measly 250k credits and a screenshotbe my guest. Do you see the logic in this sentence:
"No need to make a whole thread bashing Bounty Hunter who don't fight." <-----------------Now that's an afront to the BH community!!!!
So basically what you are telling me is you are just as useful as a chef in battle, because anyone can ride up DB and go. BTW BMILLI don't send hate tells afterI lose or after mymark is terminated, because nothing needs to be said when I beattheir temp straight up. The Jedi would still have been severly weakened after the incap anyway, and as for your female Twi'lek hero, if she derives fun out of just DB'ing with no fight, then I hope she never gets into GCW PVP. We sit and complain whenJedi duel their friends to prevent us from attacking them calling them cowards then we exhibit the same type of behavior, waiting for them to be engaged and then attacking is fine, shooting them with jetpacks or on speeders is fine, but I just think coming up an DB'ing an already incapped Jedi when you did no work other than launch a few droids is in the same class as those old CH's who would run away and pull out their 3 rancors to fight for them before CH got nerfed. Like I said play the way you want to play, it's your money, I am sorry if I offended the non fighting BH's out there, I mean this is a fighting profession last time I checked.
You are easily riled up, aren't you? ![]()
If you want to play for honor and enjoy losing your first strike advantage, then do so. You say you were in the this group with the Jedi for some time... learning what his template and skills were. That's commendable, but the fact remains that you took too long. Had you moved sooner, it may have been your kill, or you may have been dead, or the Twi'Lek may have corpsed your mark anyway.
Because you hesitated (claiming research as your motivation) you lost the mark. That's the point. You waited too long. I never said this mysterous Twi'Lek was my hero. However, I think what she did is perfectly ok in my book, as irritating as it would be. Bounty Hunting by nature is a "dirty" profession. We are hunting down and killing "criminals" for profit. "Anything for the money" as a popular theme amongst hunters. To call out another hunter on a moral issue isassinine.
I've killed my share of Jedi even up, when they were looking at me coming. I've also killed my fair share of AFK Jedi as punishment for doing it, but the onesI enjoy the most are the stealth assasinations. The ones were they have no idea what just happened to them.
I've killed Jedi that became incapped in a "Fight Club" duel in Theed, and walked silently away. I've followed marks into the Necrosis chamber while in their group and killed them and consequently got the rest of the group killed as well because of it. I simply do not care about another's feelings about how I operate.

Whohoo!
APvP player that ADMITS that he cares nothing for others in the game.
I love being proved right.
You are a fool. How could you possibly take 38 responses and infer those opinions as that of the whole body?
I will say itagain: I don't carehow you feel when I deathblow you. Whether you think it was a legitimate loss, an exploit, poor sportsmanship, anything. I simply couldnot care any less about it. There is a reason that I won. It can be attributed to you making a mistake, having inferior equipment, template, or skills, or you simplymay have gone to the bathroom orlost connection. I do not care, I willburn you to the ground, given the opportunity.
You have proven nothing, save that I personally do not care about your feelings in PvP, and that I agree with deathblowing a mark that I have not personally incapacitated.

38 responcesthat confirmmy own experiences with PvPrs is enough for me.
All ammo for my argueing for never having TEFsreintroduced and my fight to allow Jedi to playwithout forced PvP.
Thank you ![]()
