Forgot to mention, you still get an armor break with the pikeman one, its not improved but it still does the job, also you get warcry and intimidate, in swordsman you don't. I had the swordsman template but respecced it because to be honest, It kinda sucked.

I would say, yes you can still tank 3 level 82 mobs, if you just play it right . With good armor, and healing macros (infusion, heals etc) and the right foods, you will be able to get the mobs into melee mode, then focus on one mob each and intimidating/stunning the others as much as you can. Even though normal COB is half as good as Imp COB, I think with the improved damage output you will just as well.

Against Jedi, I think you will not have too much trouble tanking one (since LS isnt really that high damage), but beating one would be a different matter entirely, the best way to try to beat a Jedi nowadays is going ranged in my opinion . Oh and if you meant NPC jedi (which I doubt you did heh) dont try tanking them

I have a template to thro out there

Master pike / master doc / xx31 swords

I swapped from master pike / tkm / 4xxx doc , and surprisingly the master doc version does very , very well.

I am MPike, TKM, MBrawler, swords x/x/4/x and fencer x/x/x/4. I do quite well tanking and have a fairly good damage output. Also have force melee acc 4 and melee speed 3. I just use stim d's and a macro to keep COB going. I really use the stims.

SO I was thinking of going back to what my template used to be. TKM/Doc.

I was wondering how this template would do as far as tanking and doing fair amounts of damage. ATleast able to solo some krayts, NS and other high end mobs.

TKM/Doc/1011Swords - WIth this I can rez, buff and heal, do fair amounts of damage with katarn knucklers with power attack and critical strike and would be able to use imp armor break.

Or TKM/Doc 4034/Swords 4014 - Imp Power Attack/Imp Armor Break/Imp Crit Strike. Although I would like to be master doc, not sure if it's needed.

Another option is TKM/Doc/medic 4240/swords 1001

I'm really just looking for a tank and medium/fairly high damage template. Katarn knucklers do a fair amount of damage and with swordsman specials should be able to do even more. With doc heal and buff.
