Thread: So an Imperial BH comes for an Imperial Jedi...

Actually, it has historical back up. Prince Xizor was a lacky of the Emperor, yet alsothe leader of Black Sun, a criminal organization. Mara Jade could be termed a Bounty Hunter...or assassin. Besides, it's pretty fun the way it is.

Bossk worked for the Empire in the Bounty Hunters Guild. Also the entire IG line of Bounty Hunter Droids was created by the Empire and use by the Empire not to hunt Jedi, but for privatized missions for wealthy and influential.
As this person was attempting to take advantage of Factional Alignment, was I a hero or a villain in this scenario?

Depends on your point of view. Both parties are using options in game that need to be looked at. 1.) BH IMHO should not be either IMP or Reb, I know that ppl should be able to choose sides, but they should give a Neutral BH alot of perks for being neutral. 2.) If BH attacks, either IMP or Reb, BH TEF should over ride any other combat - even a friendly duel.

Allow me to disagree. the people here crying about their role in Star Wars as Bounty Hunters are the same whiners who don't understand one particular piece: If I am standing here, and you are standing there, and you attack my friend and you don't think I'm going to punch your teeth out myself, you landed on the wrong planet.
I believe the Bounty Hunter TEF is simply a tool for griefing.

this has been said 100 times over......the emperor wants ALL jedi DEAD....it's in the missions discription pretty often...
and a lot of same faction BH's do it to avoid yet another exploit jedi useto hide in faction bases

All Dark Jedi are allowed to exist. Don't you read the books? Everyone one of these is alivbe during this timeline and these are just the leaders of the Dark Jedi.

There is an expanded universe...there is more to Star Wars than is actually shown in just the movies.
And think like this...there are hundereds of thousands of star systems..for the most part there are say 1 or 2 inhabited world in each solar system....a thinly populated planet would probably be like Earth ( 6 billion people ) and then there are those liek Coruscant ( prolly....oh....9999 billion people? 
)...So, there are how many people in the galaxy? To say that there were NO dark jedi in teh galaxy except for the Emperor and DV is rediculous....there would have to be some out there that even they could not find therefore not shown in the movies.

it's 100% your CHOICE and thus your RESPONSABILITY to exploit a known issue or not....

Then I consider BH Tefs on same-factional Marks to be a known issue the same as this. This is not listed as a known issue in-game nor is same faction hunting so I consider it viable until it is officially posted otherwise
It's in the game and the DEV's know about it. You know how quickly they patch "bugs" that Jedi complain about. Since this hasn't been "fixed", it's obviously working as intended. People/Jedi only complain about this because they don't expect a same faction BH to kill them. That's the one of the tactics BH's used called "the element of surprise". Like Grand Moff Tarkin said "You're far too trusting."
Also back the original topic. I also disagree with the Duel/DB exploit. It makes BH hunts worthless when their mark does that. If you don't wanna fight, then do either your gay A.Force Cloak B.Force Run, or you can just offer to pay off the BH
