with all this hoopla about how it's dishonerable to attack a jedi when he's afk, grinding, or doing pvp, I would just like to say that it goes for bh's too... Listen to my story:

So I pull my random jedi mission, do the biosig/informant dance and find my mark attacking an Imp base, which is right next to a rebel base. I start attacking him and eventually incap him, but before my deathblow completes he get back up and uber heals and runs into his rebel base and heals up and eats his food, comes back out to fight again and I incap him yet again and he gets up before deathblow is complete again and runs to the outside of the rebel base and stands next to 8 vet sith hunter npc's who start to pwn me. So then I go back to the Imp base and go noncombatant so i can get near him... hrmm gotta wait five minutes, so i go get some pizza outa the fridge and start microwaving it, keeping an eye on the clock waiting for the 5 minute wait to complete, and constantly looking at the computer screen. The jedi must have gone noncombatant, because just seconds after I went on leave, the base kicked me outside, and the jedi starts attacking me, and as soon as i hear the aggro music i drop the pizza, wipe off my hands, and sprint to the computer... CRAP, FOOD DEPLETED! CANT EQUIP SCOUT ARMOR CAUSE ON LEAVE, crap, the damage had been done and the jedi db'd me. I had incapped him twice and here i am, the one in the cloning station. Did i send hate mail to the jedi for running into the rebel base so he could heal up and eat food after I incapped him? NO! Did i say it was dishonorable for him to attack me while i was AFK? NO!

If its not an exploit, then its a tactic, and even though I would feel like a panzy for running into a faction base during a fight to heal up, I congratulated the jedi for some dirty fighting worthy of a BH and kicked myself for going afk.

It was my own fault. So thats why I never feel bad for killing afk jedi who are meditating w/ force aura in theed, or by db'ing them during pvp or grinding

My guess is that the extra money your seeing comes from the latter. Good to see it's working then

Now, it may not be the fairest thing in the world, But, i got paid, and i got my mission completed. After that, i received hate tells (of course) and then about an hour later i got an mail from one of his buds saying that db'ing a jedi without dmg'ing him is an exploit.

Can someone clear this up for me, please. Is this an exploit? Or not.

Take advantage when you can.....most of the jedi will run and hide or cloak and stay cloaked, or ban you from their city services and sit in their guild hall or house. Jedi are the kings of using exploits to their advantage. So dont feel bad about it.

Considering SOE's track record, I'd say it's broken until the opposite has proven.

Best way to test it is for a jedi to keep track of how long it was since he died to a BH last, ask the BH how much money he got, and then see how the payout compares to the skill points he has in jedi skills.
