i might get one of low paddies not to hunt. otherwise having a full template run for their life is just as good as the db...don't need the money neway.

Thats a shame, It used to give me a feeling of power when I saw the message xxxxxxx challenges you to a duel xxxxxxxx withdraws their challenge

The /duel bug is fixed. A Jedi can duel a BH with his mission, and the duel request will go through. The Jedi will not get a message saying "you cannot duel because...".
* NEWSFLASH END *

On another note, I strongly discourage any Jedi from using "/duel" on a BH. It could be the start of a chain of events that leads to a situation where the BH can attack the Jedi and the Jedi is not able to attack back.
Please enlighten us, what causes this?

Nice try. There is a bug with the TEF system, and if a Jedi starts a duel with a BH there are certain steps that have to be done in a certain order by the Jedi and the BH that lead to the Jedi not getting the BH TEF when the BH attacks (or losing it in mid-fight).
That is all I am gonna say on this, I am stating that "/duel" on the BH might lead to an exploit being used against the Jedi, I wont tell how the exploit is done for sure.

To intentionally exploit a bug is a bannable offence.
Unless you have paid for the latest expansion and have unlocked an alt of course.

If you have to make a list of jedi then to me it looks like your technique needs a revamp. Stalking is your best friend. There is no shame in letting somone else or somthing else incap your target and you just casualy throwing a /deathblow in the mix. Your a BH get some skills and get paid. A bounty hunters skill is not determined by how good he fights but how often he collects....period.
Not everyone is a bounty hunter for the griefing aspect like you used to be.

It does bring a feeling of satisfaction for the first few. But when you start to realize that 90% of full temps run too it can really start to get to you. My problem is I'm friendly with a bunch of them, and they know that it's my priority to complete the mission not just make them run.

What he said - if I catch you attacking without the Jedi being able to attack back I will report you and advise the Jedi to do the same.

But from the sound of this the BH could do it and not be aware. Wouldn't it be best to try talking to him 1st, then reporting if neccesary.
I'm bringing this up because I got reported by a jedi who had never been hit with the display bug before where your opponents HAM bar stops updating. He thought I was exploiting. No need to go reporting someone who is an innocent victim of a bug. It is irritating beyond belief. I can't even bring myself to hunt another mark now.

Yes, I would send a tell first asking the BH to stop attacking since the BH TEF is bugged so he is aware that the BH and the Jedi are bugged. I dont report without warning first, unless it is clear that the one exploiting did so on purpose - overloading sabers for example hardly can happen by accident.

I like seeing what happens in the game trying to figure out how things interact what has what effect, Im a techy by trade.
So what you are saying is if someone \duels me, im not allowed to accept and try different moves?
I dont know how this exploit works, if someone posted to me how it works I wouldnt use it to gain an advantage, I just like to figure out what causes game glitches, and try to work out the underlying mechanisms. In fact this sort of poking around used to be encouraged by Lucas Arts
, I have never used an exploit to my knowledge, not even taken advantage of the KD bug.
But yes I like to poke around and see what does what. Obviously some people here are more into finding out exploits than me.
I think you are mistaking techy curiosity for an exploiting power gamer. If I was exploiter I would probably find my information from the same sources as you guys do, but I dont even bother googling for exploits.
Sorry im just the type of guy who loves warping to 0,0 for the hell of it and manageing to bug inside structures etc (if you're a bh on ahazi youve probably seen me doing this at kadaara sometime) I just like messing around, like try to get a glimpse inside the shuttle cockpits etc, its all just for fun.
Does no body else like to see how far through 0,0 they get before they get warped back and like to see where they turn up etc?
Perhaps Im just weird?
