Also,a lil thing i found out today was if a Jedi gets on a speeder an sits right in the middle of a lake, he is totally impossible to hit (including his speeder)...but then again so are you if your right next to him.

.....thankfully this Jedi was a lil gullable as he beleived me when i said i dropped his mission as i sped away on my speeder. Was fun to deliever the deathblow for making me wait ages for him to move from the middle of the lake.

I simple answer.... Learn how to play your BH so you can hunt a jedi by yourself without a gang squad. I have seen BH beat fully temp. jedi one on one... This will stop the IWIN button for BH. For the love of god... put alittle sport into it!

it's not supposed to be sporting. Bounty hunters are cold calculating killers. As far as the empire is concerned the bounty hunters job is to kill jedi. the empire wants the jedi all dead, except for vader and palpatine. The empire doesn't care about being fair or giving them a sporting chance. Now as a bounty hunter I don't care if they make it impossible for a fully templated BH to kill a fully templated jedi, as a matter of fact I think that that is the way it should be. on the other hand gank squads and bounty hunter guilds need to be enough of a danger to keep jedi from pulling out their sabers and generating visibility without KNOWING that they will be killed for it. All you jedi reading this thread need to remember that being a jedi is illegal. you are in hiding because if you don't hide you die. and as for bounty hunters ganging up on jedi, it's an ambush get used to it. when you see a bounty hunter coming for you you're only option should be to run. Any bounty hunter who shows up to a fair fight is wrong.

There are major problems with the Jedi/BH balancing. I am one of the supporters of Jedi being a bit more Uber than your average player.

I think if ONE Fully templated BH goes after a Knight, it should be a tough as nails fight. If ONE fully templated BH goes after a Fully Templated Jedi, I think it should be more like a two year old attacking a Rottwiler.

Maybe I'm the only one here, but I think it should take EVERY OUNCE of the BH profession to kill a Jedi. Tactic, strategy, low blows, and gank squads and all. Remember, even Obi-Wan Kenobi gave Jango Fett a run for his money.

I also think Jedi should be much harder to achieve than it is now. I remember being awed seeing my first Jedi. Back when they were VERY few and VERY far between.

I also think if someone so much as shows his/her face in a city in robes, should be TOS'd. You break out the lightsaber, you should have EVERY imperial in the city on your arse. I'd also enjoy seeing TEF's back for Jedi that use their powers in the sight of others. Make them attackable by EVERY PLAYER. If a BH scores a DB, let him claim a reward. Infact this could be doable by looting a token, and selling it to a Spynet Op. VERY easily implamented.

Rebel cities could be a lot more lienient. I also feel that if you're a Rebel and set foot in an Imperial supporting city, you shouldn't walk out alive and vice versa.

  1. We need to see names on the Mission Terminals. Real Bounty Hunters research before they strike. We should get the same privledge. Hunting Jedi isn't about being fair, it's about doing what's right. Jedi are Criminals. Enemies of the Republic. They are corrupt individuals, that need to be eliminated. Plain and simple. Wether it take 1 BH or 50 to kill the mark, all is fair in love and war.

  2. Grinding on Kashyyyk needs to be alleaviated. I for one, can openly admit I scored a cool 2 mil off bounties alone on the AFK grinders on the Rryatt trail. It was easy, I went into each instance, found the Jedi that were AFK and Cloned, with Macro'd force healing, grabbed their mission, return to kashyyyk and DB them. Grab another Jedi Bounty, wash, rinse, repeat.

  3. TEFs need to be reinstated on Jedi for using their uber powers. Not just putting them on Terms, that's not enough.Jedi's need to be made enemies by all.

  4. Profession needing fixing:

    1. Crafters: Crafters need some love. All crafters. Every profession. Weapons need tweaking. I think the best loot made weapons should be far superior to any Quest gained weapon. On top of that, I feel ADK's need to be removed from the game. ADK's are hurting the crafting community. Let's put the economy back in the player's hands, and take it away from all the AFK loot campers, and Quest runners. Anything Crafted should be the best in the game, when crafted with all the right parts.

    2. Smugglers: Smugglers need a bit more love also. I think Slicing Components need to be crafted again. Hell, I'm all for making the Schematics lootable for the current system. ICB's, DTA's, Mandy Intraframes. Make them all craftable. Put some more interdepency in the game. Now you have the Lootsters looting the Schem's, selling them to the Crafter's. The Crafter's building the items, and selling them to the Smugglers, and the smugglers selling slices to the Lootsters. It's all one big circle, and every profession gets a piece of the profit. Now, I'm not an economic major, but I see the trend. You're creating a free economy, where if one person ups the price too high, the rest suffer, and it creates an infitie ceilling type economy. Where the price just keeps getting driven up. On the other hand, having Slicing Compents so rare, makes it pretty viable for only the smugglers to slice. Now, if the Smugglers keep slicing to themselves, and stop promoting their 'services' to everyone, this would make them a truly elite profession. When they'd PVP, their weapon's can be doing 8% more damage than their oppenents. Or they can be firing 12% faster then their oppenent. I don't know about actual numbers, but hell, I can tell you this. 8% is a big number, when you're dealing in life and death situations. Alone, an 8% boost on a Last Ditch, can cause a hell of a lot of pain. I last ditch for about 6500 damage on an unsliced weapon. Add 8% to that. you're looking at almost 600 more damage. That's life and Death right there.

    3. Entertainers: Battle Fatigue needs to be put back into the game. It needs to have a more potent effect to. I think it should deminish your speed in attacking, and doing everything. I say make BF act as wounds to your action/mind bar. Sure this is going back to the earlier system, but it keeps Entertainers useful. On top of that, it gives us a reason to interact with Entertainers again. I could just go to my local Cantina, and stop in for a 10% buff to Exp and Faction, and crafting, but why waste that time. 10% may seem worth it, but to first find a Dancer/Musican in an active Cantina, it's starting to get as rare as Docs are. I remember when I'd go to a Cantina, and actually chat it up with the Entertianers, and hit the Med Center and talk to the Doctors. It was fun. I could find out where the action was that way. And the players of those two professions usually enjoyed Role Playing which made the game that more interesting.

  5. Communication: The communication between the Devs and Playerbase MUST be improved. Not really a pub 20 issue, but a severe issue none the less.

Sorry about the long rant.
