I have a lot of trouble with this bug when there is a lot of lag (i.e. most of the time). What I finally learned worked best was to 1) always make sure I waited until I was completely on the ground before hitting kd recovery, and 2) hit escape to clear the queue if I couldn't immediately get up.Inoticed that action keys would be flashing like they were trying to activate when I couldn't get up so I suspect the lag was locking me intointo trying to perform actions I couldn't actually do because I was kd'd.
