I hate to come off as a jerk, but I think it's a good thing that SOE didn't implement a weapon that WS's can't compete with this time. SOE is continally adding items that drive sales from crafters to the floor.

That being said, sorry that you spent all that time on a quest you were excited about, only to get crap at the end... I understand your frustration.

rimy i'm with you there, more likely i would of preferred getting a schematic instead of a weapon and then giving that scheamtic (3 or 5 use or whatever) to the WS and having them craft your weapon, and those stat's given were the caps of the weapon.

for some reason can't access any imagedump sites atm, get 0bytereplies.

rimy the thing is it might still be the case, the schematic will come from the cho-gun cube maybe, that way it forces crafters to purchase the expansion to craft the new weapon's rather than just being giving the schematic from questers.

Online Experience May Change

IT was stated many, many times before this went live that those were no the stats. The devs purposely changed them to be double capped to help with testing. I'm guessing someone in the Website department screwed up and posted an image of the gun with the wrong stats.

And to those thinking they can sue SOE or false adverting. LOL. I refer you to my first statement.

wow that stinks....

I was not looking for a uber weapon... just something usable... At 127 SAC this is not really usable..... The Mrifles rifle from Mustafar is also 127 sac... Bummer

Well the crafting professions did recieve more then thirty new schematics throughout all their classes. Granted some of the ways that a crafter needs to work with combat classes in order to gain these schematics. But schematics do make up close to thirty percent of all new loot drops and covers all the new weapon models.

I always thought the best way to make everyone happy (including crafters) is to get schematics and make a custom weapon yourself. And sorry for saying, but to simpy give awaya weapon with those stats (from beta)is simply wishful thinking.

Where did you do the quest for this? Who does it start with? We really need to test it more before saying "this is the ONLY way it comes"

Do we really need the gun though? As is, Jedi hunting is shooting fish in a barrel if they arent hiding.

It would have been nice if they did say the stats were giong to be random, but that would have taken forsight on their part....lol.

Sides, why rely on a loot weapon...my crafted Trando Rifle is at 1353 with a power up pup on it. Just wish it was kenetic instead of Energy...those dang MDEF with PSG's make it useless heh.

The point with the weapons is that the skins are available also to WS so to get good stats you need to honour our beloved crafters with your custom.

Everyone calm down. The Chu-Gon cube has recipies for schematics and components for these weapons (some weapons schem and component recipies have already been found). The stats in the friday feature picture are most likely for a crafted item and not the quest reward.

And for the record, the quest reward stats are the same as the stats in beta, insanely high SAC and all...
