Thread: Need some help guys
I brought this up with other correspondents and Talthazar the BE correspondent (There! See! I spelled your name right! Not my fault you have a name that is so hard to spell! Sound's like you have a lisp...) had a very good point.

We BE's tried to get something done about the god-awful storage requirements for DNA. Our answer was basicly that anything that was done to increase storage capacity for DNA would have to decrease the data. We've been shooting around ideas to accomplish that. You might consider the same thing. Two ways to do that, off the top of my head, might be 1) increase resource stack size and 2) increase crate size. I assume each seperate resource stack or crate is a seperate database item. Increasing the size of both of these would increase storage capacity, while reducing the data requirements.
And he is right. Getting our storage space increased is not going to happen unless they take away some of the flexibility in our crafting....so we need to brainstorm on ways around that, that if we cannot increase storage we can increase how storage is used.
(Talthazar....wasn't that a blob thing on The Tick?)
