Well here's the thing, a lot of jedi spent 4-6 months grinding. Nothing else, just grinding, the single most labourious task ever in the history of gaming imho. Those that survive and have stuck around are in a position where they are going to be the same strength as someone that grinded a double mastery in 2 days. And yup, we all deserve a little more than we're being given but taking away from another profession just because they got something we didn't is a little childish.

i am not saying to take it away i am saying eather take it away or offer it to the other double masters that didn't necessarly pop up in 2 days, i have been playing sence b4 the effen CU and am still only CL21. i dont like grinders. and they made it diffacult to be a jedi because they didn't want all of us to be jedi, then they kept making it easier to be ajedi. make the 2nd toon a +2year vet thing. and not all jedi played to that point, some EBAYED the effers. they don't diserve the s#!t scraped off my shoe.

i dont see it as being at the cost of anouther prof. and as for the loot thing i a recently working, and i do mean working, into BH because of the CH nerf my critters were not selling and i needed a Combat prof.

hurry up if u want to become a jedi before the NGE is live..

on November 15 it will be on the LIVE servers

not focusing (necessarly) on jedi Ameno may have his points and i feel for those like him that got there through their own hard work, but the afk grinders, and the ebToons are taking things from Players like me who are TRYING to play the game not grind FOTM and make the stuffthey want from it then grind anouther. i was a working onCH till they nerfed that sio i chaged, i was working onBE till they changed CH again nerfing BIO-E pets, if they make it so that the jedi get 3 toons that would be ok, i just dont see why they got the 2nd to begin with, and not wanting to be a jedi myself i never expect to get the 2nd toon, but things seem from my prospective that they nerfed things for non-coms and nerfed things for the lesser combatents and the only onews were smelling like roses (decaying or not) were the Jedi, what happened to the limiting of the force users..... sorry i am starting to rant so i will log and go to bed.

believe me, if you werea jedi, you would understand that we took a hell of alot more nerfs then anyone would ever imagine. But in the end, we all lose to ebayers. they get the character, that i spent working a year away on in a flash. (of course now its being handed away at the start, i guess i get to laugh at them for wasting a paycheck, heh.) but thats a straight slap in the face to my accomplishment. now they've gone and completely removed professions, i can only feel sorry for them, thats worse then becoming a starting profession.

In this case yes i would say that u do warrant your second character slot but what of us who grinded out profession after profession then stopped even desiring a jedi once the VILLAGE was intrduced. So now because all of the flavor of jedi is gone those of us who do not want a jedi anymore are penalized because we didnt want to bea FOTM jedi?? I say make the second slot a vet reward not a Jedi reward as there are some of us out there who grinded more than U FOTM jedi.

Maybe rare, but maybe not as rare as you think. I've played my character, Lesa, since a few weeks after launch and I ground out Jedi on her too. (I'd rather delete her than sell her and have someone else using her...she's mine, I've played her for over 2 years and having someone else using her would be like letting someone borrow my arm). I resisted doing it for a loooooong time and finally decided after the CU that I would since there wasn't anything else I wanted to do in the game.

I'd done every profession I'd wanted to do, (mastered 10 and dabbled in all of them at one point or another), I'd done all the quests (at that time...I still have a handful of Kashyyyk that I've not done and all the Mustafar ones now), I'd pvp'd a lot, I'd hunted Jedi when Jedi had 85% saber block and laughed themselves nearly to incap when I showed up carrying a pistol (Yes, I was one of the fools that was an MBH and a Master Pistoleer pre-cu!), I'd ground up to Colonel in both the Rebel and Imperial factions (Worthless, but hey...it was fun, and NO, I didnt' buy the faction points, I did missions for them).

My point is that I understand you wanting a 2nd slot, but why take mine away because someone else decided its now or never? I'm sorry you can't, and I think you've got a good point, but don't try to take something from me because you were told you can't have it. I jumped through the hoops that SOE put up for it fair and square.

I'm with you on that. As much as I used to roll my eyes at posts about how it was "such hard work" to grind a Jedi..and lets be honest, its not "hard"...its just drudgery...having done it, I'm not about to give it up.

I like being a Jedi. I want to be a Jedi to be a Jedi, not to "pwn face"...I like being the same profession as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker....I dont care if its "balanced" to the rest of the professions out there, it pretty much is now anyways.

Wait a min, wasn't one of the "come backs" from a lot of BH's when Jedi whined about being put through hell was they got the extra slot. Now that it actually means something you want to complain....rofl. I understand and I partially agree that people should be able to unlock another slot in a similar fashion but it's just ironic the very thing BH's used against "whiney" Jedi is now something they will complain about.
