why dont you petition the devs to acknowledge it as an exploit first.

I dont care if its an exploit or not, I just want the option to NOT have to duel anything if I don't want to, and I don't wanna see that stupid white text all over my screen !!

Well I would like to point out two things here, neither siding with the jedi or the bh in this matter.

One, as previously stated, if you are on your bike the duel exploit will not work, create a macro to get off your bike, target your enemy and open up your initial attack, problem solved.

Two, and this is probably the most damning comment I can make. IF the jedi has the chance to duel/endduel you then you are not stalking any longer. Plain and simple you have been spotted, targeted and the jedi is ready for you. Jedi are a paranoid skittish lot. If you truly want surprise then don't get spotted, don't let them see you coming, wait for their attention to be occupied or wait for a large crowd where you won't necessarily be easily picked out from. I mean seriously, if they have enough time to target you and examine or duel you then you have done something wrong and it's best not to initate the attack, wait for a better moment.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

Thinking you have their mission and KNOWING you do are two completely different things... that is the biggest issue I have...

Ya the speeder mount is a good trick... but hardly a 'fix'

Whether they think you have their mission or know you have their mission you are in the same boat. You can argue semantics all you want but your element of surprise is gone. The moment they know you are there they begin to prepare for the upcoming attack, and that fraction of seconds prepartion can be the difference between your hide on the wall or theirs. Honestly at that point you should really bug out unless you are a template built for a long pretracted fight. I honestly don't know why this bugs people so much when there are ways around it. We are hunters my friends and the hunters pick the time and place of the combat not the hunted. The hunted should not even know we are there till they are on their backs. A properly executed attack should result in the jedi never knowing what hit them. You have three days to make good on the mission I suggest you take that time and make sure you do it properly. This is one thing I never understood, if you are in it for the cash then do the npc missions, but if you are truly in it for the hunt then make it a hunt. You DO NOT need to attack the first moment you see the jedi. Again I go back to the same argument, if he has seen you then your element of surprise is gone and the key advantage of your alpha strike is gone with it. Use stealth and guile, don't expect to beat them in a stand up fight, there is no reason for us to engage in a stand up fight. Honestly I think if BH's had permadeath like the jedi used to have it would make the whole profession a lot smarter, more patient and more succesful.

A. you don't have to duel anyone. Most of the jedi who use this tactic have a macro that cancels the duel immediatly after issuing it, so even if you accept you'd only get a shot or two in before it was ended.

B. even if the devs fix this tomorrow it would not stop the text from comming across your screen.
