Yeah, they WOULD be on unemployment with this kind of job performance.

We should start a petition that the lead programmer must be sacked IMMEDIATELY for gross incompetence, and submit it to Lucasarts... this is ridiculous.

Since we paid for our subscriptions up front tho, and SoE makes you agree that you can't have any of it back before they allow you to play, we're kind of stuck with them. but, make enough noise, and see what happens. I find it impossible, with all the "creative license" SoE takes, and the fact that the game is degenerating into an unplayable mess, that Lucasarts even allows their name to appear on this product.

Maybe its time the community as a whole let them know whats being done under their cash cow.

so far i have not had any problem with Kash space quests...it is the GROUD quests....as for the invisible ships...that DID add fun and challenge, but it's NOT what I PAY for. The vette is an easy solo ANYTIME have done it 18 times now with both toons...only died my first time. My issues aren't about whah whah...if I oreder a medium rare steak and get it well done I send it back...if they cant get it right, ANY rest would drop the cost from my total...the problem is WE PAY UP FRONT for services we get PART of. I'm all for the upgrades on the Elite parts, but NOT at the cost of the rest of the gameplay. I like the idea posted earl;ier about the petition. If enough People DEMAND to get the services they have ALREADY paid for, MAYBE something would happen. Then again, it almost seems as if they only care to respond to issues regarding what players LIKE and WANT TO BE ADDED, and have a "P^&S off" we can replace players as fast as they leave attitude about the problems

It could be worse...we could be forced to play cookie cutter professions with so few skills we could fit them all on 1 action bar...errr...wait...

It's sad, but you're perfectly correct. (Though personally, I think the PoB changes enhance the gameplay, signifigantly, rather than detract from them as you seem to be implying) Unfortunatly, this game is still the best MMO out there, even if its only for it being custom tailored towards making the players form interdependant groups which are in turn interdependant with the whole community... just like real life. So, despite the huge imbalances on the ground (who the hell cares about a ground combat system where all you do is press buttons in a spefic sequence and occasionally in response to someone elses button-push, anyway.) and the huge bugs all over.... I will continue to pay for it. Wether or not youre "getting what you pay for" depends in the end on what it is your paying for.... and I'm paying to fly in space, to explore random nooks of the planets with my freinds, and to roleplay. Most of the major bugs revolve around things I find hideously boring (as they are in the game now) anyway; Ground quests. Jedi. Ground comabt of all types. Hence, though I'm aware of the piles ofbugs, balanceissues, and areas of the game which are just simplylacking in any content whatsoever,I'm pretty happy with the game as-is, and ive been playing for three months now so I'm pretty sure its not just nub-fascination. But you don't seem to be spending your money for the same reasons as I am, so perhaps you should indeed go "stick it to the man."

Which missions are you talking about? Haven't heard much specific about old missions gaining new bugs as of pub24.

Screwed how? because you have old gear that can't compete now that we've finally been given what we should have had all along?

I'll chalk it up to the fact you play on those two servers that no one you talked to was able to tell you, that the targeting cursor has NEVER been accurate, unless you're in a newbie ship or something just as slow. Get used to it, and take it off your list of sins, it nothing new.

Never trust a computer to tell you where to fire anyway ... trust your instincts and your skill ... if you don't have those well then you need more experience ... try gunning down some targets without locking on ... learn to fly without the assistance and you'll be a better all around pilot for it.

Oh, I didn't realise they did sequels. Only one I played was "Beyond the Frontier". Pretty good from what I remember.

Just been looking up X3, and only found X2 on amazon. But since I have an older system might go for that anyway - anyone give me a heads-up on what it was like?

The issue with the mission was fixed due to a ticket response. The issue with the POB ships is the fact that I cant see out the windows of my 3 POB's. The targeting cursor has ALWAYS worked accurately for me in the past in ALL ships with ALL weapons, until pub 24(in which BOTH of the before mentioned went bad) I can take out my targets without it, but when it's working it DOES help. My POINT is that it is NOT "working as intended". Not sure about everyone else, but I don't knowingly buy broken products. I APPLAUD the ELITE component upgrade....but why does it have to interfere with what already worked BEFORE the upgrade? When a patch or upgrade is installed, it should NOT create new problems, even temporarily. When they do, it shows that developers are not accurately testing the new enhancements, thus NOT doing their job properly.

I understand that fixing these issues takes tremendous resource, time and manpower(all of which SOE has ALREADY been paid for) I agree with the idea of a petition of sorts, it has definite merit, but I would suggest that a timeline to fix ALL o f these problems be established or SOE should face losing a significant percentage of its customer base.

WE, the PLAYERS AND ACCOUNT HOLDERS, DESERVE BETTER. We CAN have it! If WE are willing to stand and say "I expect to get what i paid for or I expect a refund"(SOE puts this in the contract as do ALL online service providers because they ALL know full well that NO software store will take back a game after it has been opened....this GUARANTEES them YOUR money even if you find the product to be faulty, which you CANNOT know until AFTER you agree to the TOS which requires a full installation).

What I'm trying to say is thatIF, WE, the PLAYERS AND ACCOUNT HOLDERS, DEMAND that it be fixed upon threat of canceling our subscriptions, WE CAN see it done. We should not be content settling for the rolls and salad when we ALREADY bought a steak! If as many people that complain about these issues IN GAME would all come together on a SINGLE thread to voice our opinions PUBLICLY, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

So I challenge everyone of you that reads this and agrees YOU DESERVE MORE FOR MONEY YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID, to sign the thread(age old adage "if you don't cast a vote, you can have no voice") I try not to complain in game much(though I do find myself succumbing more and more), so that is why I voiced my opinions on this issue in the forums.

MY vote is for SOE to fix it, or face losing my subscriptions...if only 30% of the player base that feels the same was to join in on this, I ASSURE you it CAN AND WILL make a difference. What company can afford NOT to listen to such numbers of PAYING clients?
