Thread: My first day as a Bounty Hunter
well the problem with all of my missions so far (that i got to fight anyways) is that i hit them head on face to face
the two that i didnt do that too (one this morning) i almost tore apart, the first mission was best, if it wasnt so hilly that i had to stay right nxt to him i would have slaughtered him then and there
imagine.....my first battle vs. a jedi as a BH killing a preCU jedi. that would have rocked
so far i havnt gotten a single hate tell and talked to all of of my marks for about 10-20minutes
If you lose to a Jedi, 9 out of 10 times they will be really nice and give you tips and even buy stuff from you.
9 out of 10 times you kill a Jedi...you will get hate tells from either them or a friend...orALL of their friends when you find them grinding pickets, incap your mark with two shots (and hopefully they're the healer) and then the entire group gets wiped out...then you have lots of angry people yelling at you. But I guarantee you will laugh for a long time about it...watching an entire spin group drop because of an underhand shot and adv crit isthe best thing I've ever seenin this game...but I'm an evil bad man and kill for the hate.
Lol, My first day as a bounty hunter was a day to remember, i was really pleased with my self. By the sounds of some of these stories i think i may have been lucky with the missions.
1st target: Grinding on Dantooine. When i had sight of him i made sure i had everything right as he was a lvl 80 full template (wasnt too worried as i was already quite confident at pvp), i kd'd him and quickley ran up with the paralyze and applied the rest of my de-buffs(poison last as i beleive it breaks the paralyze). when he got up i was about 25m away and gave him a root. I then applied some fire. My attacks were hitting about 600 -850 per second plus my de buffs were causing damage. It seemed the jedi was unable to do anything, he was healing like crazy. After ten minutes of blinds, cuncusions and de-buffs i pulled my favourite trick in the book of BHing, at half life root, at quater life kd, run up paralyze then hit him with my advanced laser riffle.
2nd target: PvPing in theed. When i got toher shewas almost incaped all i did was shot her a couple of times and then get the db. =D

9/10 of my jedi have been preCU and half have been PvP gods or close.....i got like 2 missions for jedi who were waiting for BHs to visit LOL
had one where i talked to him for 1 hour and waited to get in his group, he finaly sends me a tell to get in, followed by a tell can u rez then my droids stopped coming.....'im like SHT!
someone beat me to him lol oh well, i would have won easily he wasnt full temp, preCU and was tanking in a spin group
Well I got my master box the other night and couldnt resist pulling a jedi mark and going striahgt for him before bed, just to see what it was like.
He was on the south oflok in a player city, by the time i get there he's about 3k to the SE so i follow him and when i get close see he's killing kimigola with 2 non-jedi buddies. I cover up and approach but he moves out of range, soi stand up, run in to 65m range, go prone, aim and snipershot him without him even seeing Im there. I hit for 3100ish dmg and incap him.
He gets up, i crit shot him and incap again.
Then i get close enough to start the DB and he gets up, runs and cloaks, so i follow him around for a bit, all the time trying to avoid the kimis hes just been fighting. I then got tired of it and tried to pull my swoop but as soon as i hit the button he decloaks and whups me real good.
I figure I'll hone my skills and improve though rather than scream for nerfs like a lot of people do.
