Im sure this has been asked before but here goes:
Im making an alt on another server because I'm dieing (no pun intened) to hunt jedi and its going to take forever and the distruction of my main toonstemp just to get a 2nd slot on my main server (not worth it I dont want a jedi). So I have a n00b grinding up marks and the one line of scout atm, my question is this. I really want to be a Master BH and hunt jedi that way but it seems that wont work (based on what Ive seen here). Is there ANY way to be a successful Master Bounty Hunter or do I have to get TKA? What is the best temp?? Sorry I know many people have asked this question but I'm at work and really cant spend hours digging in the forums, thanks so much for any info.

MBH/Mpistols is a terrible pistols template IMO.
3040 BH
Mpistols
0040 Smuggler
is the template you go if you want to hunt them with pistols
MBH
Mcarbineer
Nbrawler
is the template you go if you want to hunt them with carbines
3000 BH
TKM
2040 Medic
is the template you go if you want to kill them
As a ranged BH, you really can't take higher than a 100k or thereabouts mission without some excellent weapons (dots or massive krayt enhanced with uber slice)
as 3000 BH/TKM/2040Medic you can take up to knight level with little investment beyond foods once you have a good grasp of the TKM profession. if you can't play TKM well, then you will probably lose to a knight. I suppose if you have a lot of experience with pistols or carbines they would be the superior choice, however you will find that TKM is far more liberal int he types of jedi you can take.
I prefer the TKM route as that way are are also able to do well in PvE be it as a tank in the DWB or with nightsisters on Dath or even the Acklay in the Geo Lab. It is possible with TKM because of the 2040 medic allowing you stim Es and bleed cures.

I am a mbh/mp.
I use pistols for damage (healthshot1, 2, torso shot) and carbs for states (confusion: stun, blind, dizzy | firekd: dizzy kd | underhand shot: kd).
I am dying to use my new 2.8 speed llc. I was hitting lairs with single2 for 6k damage almost every second. You really need to get a jedi kd tho for llc to be effective.
If their mind is real low, I will spam eyeshot instead of going for the health pool.
Torso shot tho can stack 3 flames, and burns harder the more bf they have. It is not unusual for me to blackbar the health in less than two minutes. Gotta be careful tho, it can triple incap before you can get the db sometimes, and you will have to catchthema t the cloner to get paid.

Im a triple master as my main so Im very comfortable with TKA but that's the reason I was hoping I could go MBH and focus on ranged. In the same respect I had a feeling I would need TKA. But all the info both you guys gave me gives me options to play with. Thank's so much ***** all around for ya.

I just became a Novice BH and looking to master the proffession so my question is this.
the reason i ask is cause ive been getting some conflicted answers.
1. When do player Jedi become available and do those mission go through the reg Bh terminal?
2.If i see a jedi just cruiseing though a town can i attack him?

If 5 BHs take my mission and I kill all 5....does that mean I am off the terms?
Or does my visibility keep increasing with every BH I kill which means I stay on terms
til someone takes me out?

you'd still be on the terms. The only way to get off the terms is to stay off for three weeks or die because you will get hunted...causing you more vis.

Not just any death though...has to be a deathblow by a bh....just to clear things up.

Clarification to your post: Die to one of the bounty hunters with your mission.
