If Jedi get their way, you can count on that not being a joke... they got every other inconvenience removed by complaining, I predict soon there will be no xp loss and they will be warned when someone takes their mission. Soon afterward, they;ll change it so the Jedi gets a constantly updating WP to the BH and gets to attack first.
Ahh...

it's true tho, only a matter of time....
It can never happen without Jedi becoming a normal profession and BH/Jedi missionsbeingremoved. I firmly believe both 'sides' would not let the latter happen, myself included.

They find out when they target you and type /duel..
not anymore, there was a silent fix for this.
jedi get now the duel message as everyone.
Is this true?
Anyone confirm?!?
This is great news!!!!!
the one thing i got from this thread is this..
there are alot of respec bh out there who have no clue about our profession... but took it because it was considered strong in pvp.. guys, try doing some missions and figure stuff out.. you learn all about being a bh from doing your missions..
and people wonder why most old timers have no respect for respec bh.. its because they have no clue.. not all of them.. but enough of them it seems.

Not unless this fix came out with todays publish ... I know of someone that confirmed BH target just 3 days ago using this.
It was fixed about 2 weeks ago I believe. What do you mean by "confirmed BH target"? Are you saying a BH got the message "XYZ challenges you to a duel" or are you saying a Jedi got the message "You cannot duel XYZ because he can already attack you"?

option B.
Had 4 jedi in the group. We noticed the BH and started the /duel <name>;/endduel <name>
3 Jedi announced: NOT ME
Last said "Crap! and ran into his house" The rest went up to the BH and he said "How do you know I was after him?"

I don't have to do that, they're ALWAYS after me........lol.
I'm one mark that will cost BHs money to kill. If you pull my mission, bring a crate of swoops.....you'll need it......lol.

i run around in the BH gear, but from when i accept a mission to when the fighting is done i have my tantel on (i hope my teal composite boots and gloves dont give me away)... im sorry, but tantel armor is ugly as sin and i cant justify wearing it around.
from now on ill carry a fishing pole
It's funny when you actually hit someone with the fishing pole. You can actually do damage! Stick fight anyone?

Crap - somebody rolled back too much when trying to reverse the xp change it seems
Are you sure the fourth Jedi actually did the "/duel" thing or did he just assume the BH was there for him because the other three said he wasnt there for them?

how soon do Jedi know they are being hunted, and when do they know you are the one hunting them? Do they get a system message of any kind during the hunting process?

how do u equip armor and gunswith a macro umbra?
- Find an empty toolbar pane.
- Place the armor and weapons you want to equip and place them in the toolbar buttons by dragging and dropping from your inventory to the buttons.
- Your macro should go something like the one below, though which toolbar pane and buttons you wish to use are up to you. Note that pane and button numbers start with 0 (since the developers are developers and not people that count using standard cardinal numbering systems
). - In the macro example, the stuff that starts with a # is a comment and should not be included when you type in or copy/paste the macro.
#QuickChange macro (call it whatever you want):
/ui action toolbarPane00; # 00-05 is toolbar pane 1-6
/ui action toolbarSlot00; # I like to put my weapons on regular keys and armor/clothes on shifted F-keys
/ui action toolbarSlot12; # 00-11 is F1-F12, 12-23 is Shifted F1-Shifted F12
/ui action toolbarSlot13; # repeat for each toolbar you've dropped an item on
/ui action toolbarPane01; # use this to go back to the toolbar where you normally have your combat moves hotkeyed, mine are usually on toolbar pane 2 (toolbarPane01 to the code monkeys).
#end of macro
Note that the capilization must be exactly as shown or the macro will not work, and you will get no error message.
After you've coded the macro, drag and drop it's button from your abilities window to a toolbar button on a pane you would normally have up when either ready or preparing to attack.
Note that a similar macro can be used for do a quick intake of foods/drink buffs, etc., so with one or two button presses you can be ready to engage. Obviously, you could use a similar technique to going to wearing streetclothes and an "innocent-looking" weapon.
