All profs should get something like that. Thumbs up to the idea. This isn't a bh vs jedi guys. Bh vs marks nothing more nothing less.

This is a great idea. Anything that lets me progress as a MBH (other than FS)is a good thing. I think every profession needs something akin to this as anencintiveto master a profession and keep it.

WOW what an idea!!! I love it. Here's an idea that I had while reading this and other posted coments. One person was talking about the GCW and how BH shouldn't be alowed to enter the GCW b/c it really doesn't follow the story very well. They were right but what if the devs made it so that BH get faction xp, and BH xp for doing bounties. Just like a Reb or Imp does Reb or Imp mission to go up in rank for their particular Faction, Bh do bounties for his/her specific Faction to get Faction points. The ranking system should then not be based on corp. Lt. and so on, and I'm not really sure of each specific rank but as you clime the scale you can use t your faction points to buy faction armor, like if you are a Jabba BH, you can get Mandolorian armor, or if say you are a Black Sun BH you can get armor that has a Black Sun logo on it. And just like the other factions you can choose to be overt or covert. Other proffs can also join in that faction and get mission from Jabba or one of his henchmen, but the BHs get their mission from Boba.

Then whena player gets to a certan rank with their Faction they should be able to go to any one of the underworld Faction BH (Jabba, Black Son...) and request that a bounty be issued on a player. The request is reviewed by an SWG CSR, (to pervent grdge matches)and then is given to the NPC BH (Boba) to be given to a player Bh to be executed. Only one bounty can be issued on anyone player per month or so.

Interesting thoughts. However I could give a damn less about the Jedi losing more xp. Logically, I would think they would lose less xp from a higher ranked BH.

The Bounty Hunter Ranking System (BHRS) awards points based on providing visual evidence of Jedi Reports, Jedi Sightings, Sighting with Power, and Jedi Kills.
