For me, KD is more of a defensive manuever now. I'll take roots and snares over fights that were typically won by who got the dizzy/kd first. It's a little bit more tatical now.

I agree. For me, KD is a move that I use when I am trying to keep the Jedi at bay while I kite them and I'm waiting for my root to refresh. I never go in with guns a blazin' with KD as my first attack. I go in, outside of the 32m range, hit with Stopping Shot(root), keep a high pressure attack going, as soons as root starts to go, peg them with a snare, and start to kite. I'm always prepared to hit my burst run to make sure I stay ahead of them and KD in case they get too close. I fought a Knight last week that hit me once with his saber and that was with an Armor Break... the rest of his attacks were choke.

Hmm I think I'll have to try that KD + Disarming shot idea...makes sense. And to anyone who says keeping someone on the floor is unbalancing, remember that currently the opponant is 1.5x (minimum) stronger that we are... Keeping control of the situation is the way to win, if they are good, you may not be able to beat them anyway, but then again, you'll have to be good to get them to stay on the ground in the first place... Specials take action, action regens reletively slow, too many specials and your SOL and they're back on their feet, you with no way to fight back now.

If this method works (like I said, I'll have to try it), then it will be like the old KD + Dizzy without the ability to just sit there and wail on the target. You'll have to plan each attack into the fight because they'd still be able to get back up after a few seconds.
