As always, you are completely wrong and your ignorance shows thoroughly... I am posting in these forums because I have played as both Jedi and Bounty Hunter, because at some point I just gave up on being Bounty Hunter just out of sheer sickness with this system of force pvp and all the animosity and mistrust that it created in the game, there are no "real" or "fake" Jedi, that is simply a figment of your imagination... there are players in the game, and some of us did not want forced pvp simply because we wanted the freedom to decide with whom we played... a lot of the BH's out there were griefers and borderline psychos, this has nothing at all to do with any "challenge", simply trying to stay away from people with mental issues. Yeah, I am very happy that there will be a lot of Jedi, and I am very happy that there won't be any BH's to spoil the fun for me or the thousands of other Jedi.

It would be stupid to think there's any pride in participating in forced pvp, it was an archaic process it is being eliminated, and there will never again be forced pvp in SWG, thank God the griefers will have to look for another game if they just want to take out their frustrations in life by griefing other players.

You must understand that posting things such as, 'YEY! No more pesky BH's' is going to get a few riled up. Look, a lot of us weren't griefers, a lot of enjoyed the challenge, a lot of us had good relationships with Jedi. I don't know how many more times I'm going to post this but you were never forced to PvP. You were a PvP class. I'm sorry, but that's the way it was. If you didn't like it, you should've played your alt. I might add that a lot of jedi also enjoyed the BH content.

There were a lot of losers here - BH's and Jedi. BH's lost one of the most unique challenges in a game ever and Jedi lost a lot of power. All that said, the game has changed to your playstyle. Enjoy it. There is no need to debate this any further. Please go back to your jedi forums and talk about how fun your playstyle is and how everyone should enjoy themselves now.

My only hope in all of this is that we will have a GCW and eventually we will actually hunt players that want to be hunted and understand what that means.

I have never said that *all* BH's were griefers, that's a flat-out lie, heck BH was the first profession I set out to master when I started playing right after launch. And you know something? I got into the BH profession without *ever* expecting or wanting any sort of pvp... same goes for Jedi... I might have accepted the fact that some BH's would try to hunt me, it doesn't mean that I liked forced pvp. I never saw Jedi as a pvp class even if others did -- and my vision of the Jedi profession is the one that will prevail in the new game - one that is not an "alpha class" and one that does not have to put up with forced pvp.

If the pvp in the game had never been forced, like it was with the GCW and the Jedi profession, maybe I would have been more willing to give it a try... but I don't enjoy stuff that is forced on me, if anything, it should be a matter of free choice, especially since we're all paying the same monthly fee for this game.

And I didn't say you said all BH's were griefers. I was simply stating that not all of us were and we enjoyed what we had. Here is the issue, you said, 'I never saw Jedi as a pvp class...' The thing is, SOE did and you knew it going into it. Another funny thing is this, you said, 'If the pvp in the game had never been forced, like it was with the GCW and the Jedi profession, maybe I would have been more willing to give it a try.' Why did you even give jedi a try then? So you could pick it up and then complain about 'forced' pvp...

It's pointless to argue anymore. It's done. You get your playstyle and everyone else is forced to play by it. Enjoy (and I really do mean that).

This is a *role-playing* game, I picked Jedi for the role-playing element, and just hoped eventually they'd eliminate forced pvp from it (and I was right, they *are* eliminating forced pvp from it). SOE and LucasArts have gotten rid of the last bit of forced pvp from the game, and I'm happy for it, it's by far the best thing about the NGE.
