I say this only because I don't think anyone should be locked out of their actual house. What I really think needs to be fixed is placing down a house while grinding. I think to fix this no one should beable to place a house down while in a group, and with a mission in their datapad, unless of course it is a quest, or space mission.

You are also argiuing about this in the jedi fourms. Shut up you respec, wook grinding noob. This is the same way it was pre-cu.

Now watch your tongue kid.

Unless you are constantly being chased and attacked by BHs (which I doubt since you are an uber full-template knight of leetness), then this change shouldn't bother you much. Once in a while you'll have a visit from a BH that wanna kill you, so what? Big deall? Flee or fight then get in your house and that's it. Since you're so powerful, I don't even understand why you're trolling in here.

Out of curiosity, what server are you on? (can tell me by PM I won't tell anyone, I promise)

I just think its wrong, that's why, its because I think SOE is making quick fixes instead of the best fixes. It really has notihing to do with me.

How long have you been playing this game man? I don't care what pre cu was like or not. I'm expressing the way I think things should work. You have a problem with that fine, don't read the forums. Otherwise you can take a flying leap into a jet intake or something. Yeah I respec'd, for some skills. So? You got a problem with that buddy? What have you done in game that is an actual exploit? Last time I checked respecing skills wasn't causing folks to be banned, therefore it wasn't an exploit.

Please ignore this guy and let this thread die. He isarguing to hear himself type. Thisis a classic caseof diarrhea of the mouth and he hasn't the foggiest clue of what he is saying anymore. You could hit him in the face with a 2 x 4 and he would tell youthe smae thing repeatedly.

The real solution to the house issue is to bring back solo grinding or remove visibility from group grinding. The problem with Jedi grindingnow is that there is no way to progress in the Jedi tree without grouping. Realistically, this means that visibility is generated and the Jedi lands on the terms. Since there is no incentive for a Jedi who is in the process of filling out his template to engage in combat with a BH at a risk of losing XP the smart thing for the Jedi to do is to hide, which has resulted in the popularity of this particular tactic. Additionally, since Jedi's filling out their templates are compelled to group and thereby generate visibility it has become irrelevant for them to worry about generating visibility in front of other players through the use of force actions or the equipping of robes or lightsabers. Jedi run around cities with impunity because they have already received visibility through grouping. This has had the effect of bringing Jedi out into the open whereas previously they would have been concerned with remaining hidden. Visibility is essentially a nuisance that is accepted as part of being a Jedi post-CU, not a detrimental punishment that players seek to avoid.

If Jedi weren't encouraged to group and could solo grind as was possible pre-CU then the tactic of dropping a safe house near a nest wouldn't be an issue. The TEF's preventing Jedi from entering houses would be more acceptable to those low-level Jedi who are the most vulnerable because whatever visibility they generated would, as was the case prior to the CU, be the consequence of their behavior and not something that they are being encouraged to do. Comparing the two paths, solo grinding vs. group grinding clearly demonstrates the disparity. A large proportion of the Jedi population who would never have been on the BH terms have ended up there in the past few months because of the necessity of group grinding to progress in this profession. Jedi who want to stay off the terms should be able to do so without sacrificing their enjoyment of the game and its content, something that isn't a realistic possibility post-CU.

Hey that too. Once again this was a result of soe not making the proper fixes. However there are many solutions to this, and if we stop fighting about it, we will think up something that will actually work.
