/wave Hi everyone!
Introduction
Most of you probably already know me. I was tailor correspondent from 3/04 to 11/04, and am the self-appointed leader of Team Hawtpants. Let me tell you a bit about my ID roots.
I started in beta as an ID and entertainer. I ended up being drawn to tailoring as an afterthought because I saw all of the clothes the entertainers were wearing and I thought they were fabulous. I thought doing total makeovers would be a great way to meet people in the game.
ID was the first profession I've ever mastered, and I've continued to be an ID over the different servers on which I've played to this very day. I've mastered ID under the old system, then under the timer system, then under the brand-new system. I feel as if doing this allowed me to better understand the new player experience.
As tailor correspondent, I was a passionate advocate for ID and entertainer issues in the correspondent forum, supporting the ID and entertainer correspondents. I look forward to continuing to advocate for this community.
Correspondent Goals
So what are my campaign promises? Well, to represent your views to the best of my ability with the devs. This means polls on issues that may not have been even requested by the devs, just in case they do ask. It means an open dialogue. It means me putting aside my personal beliefs to fight for what you want. It means making myself unpopular with the devs as necessary to get the job done.
As far as this forum goes, Technocan did an excellent job keeping things organized and accessible, and I intend to keep his vision going and make sure that the answers are easily available for those willing to look. Most importantly, I will be here, not just lurk but be here to answer questions or just say "I don't know" or "I have nothing to report."
I look forward to working with you all to make the ID profession better. Bear with me for the first few days while I slog through a good amount of backlog in the correspondent forum so that I understand the issues. Then I'm getting to work.
