I know I "made the choice to become a jedi blah balh blah" (most of the BHs who grief players use this excuse) but the xp loss is getting to be insane!
I cant move without getting hit by a BH! I have a low bounty on me so EVERY single cowardless BH on my server is attacking me! One BH killed me 5 times in a row! I also have a pre pub 9 jedi (I quit playing for a while) so I have no other skills whatsoever.
Here was my play experience today.
-logged on...
-went to attempt to grind on Kash....
-within 10 minutes a BH found me on the Ryatt trail and killed me -340k xp......
-re-spawned and headed back out to the group, kinda shook it off......
-gained 25k xp hunting for a bit......
-within 1/2 and hour THE SAME BH came out again, and got me -250k xp.......
- I got mad and logged off.......
-Came back on after a few hours, and decided to finally do the Mark of the Hero quest on Tat (the only toon I have that I never did it with)........
-Leave my house......
-Get killed by a BH at the starport on Dant, MO. Lag is so bad, i couldnt do a thing -280k xp.......
-Clone and travel to Tat......
-Arrive at Mos Eisley and run to a shuttle port.......
-Shuttle from Mos Eisley to the player city closest to the squill caves.....
-Pull out my speeder......
-Boom! My speeder is destroyed and a BH KDs me, then spams disarm and startle shot so that I cannot even move.....
- Loss of 275k xp.......
My XP Grand Total: -5,657,402 Jedi xp........
How the hell is this a fun gaming experience! I know BHs are only doing there jobs (usually they are just respec kids who think that killing jedi and ruining anothers gaming experience is fun), but why cant the devs at least make a negative xp cap? Or just take out the loss all together!
Seriously considering cancelling all my accounts! I am not whining, but i just described my gaming experience, like it usually is every time I log on....
Now before all the respec BHs come on here and yell all their crap about how "You shouldnt have went jedi then!" just put yourselves in the padawans shoes for a minute. It will take a very long time to grind out of my -5 million xp debt. Which means I will not have a new skill box for a VERY long time, and also means I'll be a sitting duck and just keep getting further into xp debt......
Oh and we cant run into houses anymore!!!! Oh my god, make this stop!

I suggest then waiting until Publish 20 comes, then you can continue your group grinding. I know my post will be proceeded by a lot of "Ha ha, Jedi can't handle it, then don't CHOOSE it." And although they are doing what their profession allows them to do, and they should not 'let you off' I think that others need to at least attempt a degree of civility and respect with all players they encounter; including Jedi they hunt.

Just a quick question, umm what CONSTRUCTIVE purpose does this have other than spreading hate spread between professions. Too much energy is used by the player base on dividing the community and not enough uniting; not saying that this should be spent with LOVE for the opposing profession, but don't turn it into this. Both groups has it's share of inexperienced and immature members, pointing them out doesn't help anyone and reflects somewhat badly on the reposter for doing it.

Them:
1. Lightsaber min/max damage at least equal to other elite weapons. Sabers are capped at 800. I have seen weapons from every other elite profession top 1100. I have a higher DPS with a friggin lvl 54 pistol than I do my lightsaber and I am MASTER Lightsaber.....not very encouraging. It is just sick that I am out damaged by almost every elite profession and I have almost a perfect saber. Don't need to out damage them, just make it equal.
2. Noob Jedi grinding. Visibility go bye bye. They have it rough. Visibility shouldn't happen at least til their first master. I get hunted MAYBE once a month--I have yet to be hunted since the CU. I've seen noob Jedi get hunted EVERYDAY.
3. BH terms. Jedi names are going to no longer be displayed. Good. NOW, make every Jedi bounty the exact same payout. BH's seem to hunt ONLY, I know a few very honorable BH's that choose the challenge over the easy kill so those of you are not included--this is for the majority, the weakling Jedi. Not fair. Not fair at all to them. Most of the BH's do not even LOOK at the name, just the payout..."Ooooh, an 80k payout Jedi, EASY kill"... Just not fair. This would give one VERY wide variety in hunting Jedi, who know's what you will get and woulddefinately evenit out.
4. Saber Block and any other skills, titles, robes, accomplishmentsnot gained because of FRS. You know, not everyone that plays an MMO or even plays SWG or owns a Jedi does it for the PvP. There are plenty of us that have always and will always prefer PvE. Outside of the occasional BH hunt I am strictly PvE. I wanted to be Jedi to BE Jedi--to wield a lightsaber--to shoot lightning from my hands--to run almost as fast as a speeder--to force choke npc's or mobs, not be forced to PvP. Yet in order to get anywhere with my profession I will be forced to PvP. No other profession is chained down because they choose/prefer not to PvP.
5. Content content content. Jedi specific missions. Problem solving. Assassinations. Border disputes. Peace bringing. War starting. Instead of PvP, why not Jedi content that upon completion moves us through the ranks....

No, the reason why jedi should be stronger is because the grind is 10x longer. If you're not going to make jedi stonger than reduce the grind.Either way, there's still going to be tons of jedi running around.
I agree. The grind isnt a deterrent, perma death was and thats why they were originally stronger, this longer grind thing doesnt make much sense.

Multiply each jedi box by 5 and that's how much non-jedi xp it takes.(we're talking 16mill for a maser box(.

Since then I use this myself when trolling the instances for a group,,,saves alot of time.
My question is why the H E double hockey sticks did a CSR take it upon themselves to take such action. Whether you disagree with macro grinding in principle or not, IT IS NOT ILLEAGAL. (sorry a few buttons on keyboard magically didnt work today when I got home, so grammer is not perfect)
Even the devs said ti was illeagle, and that it was against the, EULA???? Don't hear about it muhc ahaha but thank god for that CSR.

I have to agree there, if things stay the way they are I think within this coming year and into the next there might be roughly 50% Jedi or more on the larger servers, 30% or more on the smaller servers, I play on a smaller server, and it seems lately it is just as bad as it was during the hologrinding craze, everyone I talk to that wants to group is grouping to get village xp, it is very much heading to a one class game IMO.
