My character is MBH/MCM with the rest tied up in fs, melee defense and ranged accuracy. The medic skills are wonderful minus the mind drain when you start DOT'ing your mark. I also have a lightning rifle that deals a max of 1175 with pup's(give or take a few) which works great for catching em at a distance with adv critical shot. The only problem I am having with this character is how to keep my mind from draining, I use some foods right now, don't have a clue what they are off the top of my head. What would someone suggest I eat to help my mind, I don't have much problem with action loss.

Hiyas, was wandering if a MBH/Msmuggler/ whatever else. would be good enough to take down the new BH marks that are on the test server, the ones with like 35k ham.

Ahrisa, Spiced tea and Accargram(sp) are good choices.
I use the first two mainly and some other foods will stack with them.
a good tip i read was to apply your Paralyse/states while sitting for the faster mind regen, once you get up then lay some DoTs in there.
tried it myself in a duel and it worked fine.

okay buddy is in need of some major advice here;

MBH/MRifles/0440 medic/novice CM

Finally caught a jedi in the webweaver trail and he was afk (Good target practice, or so we thought), hes got a t21 with 470dps unpupped, he was using adv snipe shot, critical shot, knockdown, bleed, even dot'd a poison on him, head shot, adv cripple shot, imp knee cap and the guy could heal faster than the damage would stack, he used vercupti(sp?), brreath of heavan, picatta pie, canape, (wasnt sure he was afk). After he noticed the afk, he unequipped armor and was smackin for 500+ damage, but after 40 minutes we gave up.

Is there something wrong here?

oh yeah, PS... LOL, show some sympathy for the poor guy, his name will be laughed at for awhile im sure, there were like 5 other Jedi there crackin up about this.

Just joined the game 2 months ago and am trying BH, So far i think its a great laugh but not sure about what effect the last publish has had on the prof so what is a good prof combo with Master Carbineer/ MBH , haven't mastered BH yet still working on the Invest boxes.

Any Advice would be great though

Dont know what you're talking about dude! BH has better stats and a nice array of specials when compared with other non-Jedi hybrid professions. The only other one that compares really is smuggler, but they're pretty much forced into using pistols.

My template is MBH/MRifles/Pistoleer 0003/MMarksman. My question is should I drop the MMarksman box and the carbines line of marksman and pick up novice medic? Is it worth it?

Also jedi is not over powered, you have players who know specials and how to use them and those who don't if A BH knows his specials he'll win if a jedi knows his specials he'll win if they both know specials its a matter of tactics, if you think jedi are over-powered look at pre-9 jedi and what they have lost from nerfs

Template Question, one which I'll start my own post on if this garners no responses...

Anyone silly enough to try MBH + MPikes? I love my Pikes and BH looks fun. I understand the downsides (BH slated toward ranged, obviously), but I'm curious to see people's thought's on this if they've tried it.

i'm tempted to try mbh/mswords with some medic in there. idk how that will do against knights but we'll have to see.

I'm a fan of pistols so my templates so far tested were:

MBH/MSmuggler/Pistoleer 4000 (no medic)
- nice crowd control
- LOTS of speed, below par accuracy (was 130spd/185acc w/ SEAs)
- Extremely challenging without medic

MBH/MPistoleer/Squadleader 0003/medic 0020
- Good defenses (I think 225m/240r)
- Good speed and slightly more acc (120spd/205acc w/ SEAs)

MBH/MPIstoleer/Rifleman 0003/medic 0020
- Decent balanced speed for both rifle and pistol (122spd/215acc pistol, 124spd/220acc rifle all w/ SEAs)
- Good defenses (220m/240r)

I also tried MBH/MSWord on another toon during the respec period a couple months back, nice damage but in no way able to control the Jedi hence no root/snare and a so-so legsweep knockdown (lunge lost its KD effect). This is a fairly decent damage wise template if you do duels or with Jedi that intends to stay and fight.

Another template to try is MBH/MPistoleer/CM0030/medic 0420 for hemerhage, I notice MOST Jedi wears out their action due to their high SAC LS.
