Thread: Focus BH Templates
This the current template i am looking at i was wondering how effective i would be at primarily PvE and PvP

I am thinnking too about all the issues aboutmedic/ doc that are posted. I don't really agree with a must have medic/doc.
I recently dropped my entire MCH for pistoleer just for stopping shot. My template now looks like this (still trying and checking everything
):
MBH, MasterRifleman, Pistoleer xxx3, novice CH (will be dropped for FS boxes, gives me 20 skillpoints more)
There should be many FS BH, so come on
tell me which FS boxes you would choose.
I am thinking about luck 1-4
and the healing tree in the hightened senses tree, and the melee and ranged defense skills in enhanced reflexes tree. will be a lot of time until i get this far, but i am trying ![]()
Something else: some dev's comment: we want to make the BH prof a 1on1 profession, Jedi will be 1.5 times as powerful as normal professions, the bh temp is only in advantage because of the first strike ability, means no grouphunting for jedianymore (it's tough enough already).

Smuggler 4000
Master Bounty Hunter grants you the damaging specials while Master Pistoleer gives you states. Something very nice with Pistoleer is of cource /stoppingShot wich roots youre target. With this template you also get granted another root, /concusionShot from Novice Smuggler. But you need to get us to it. The special will root/hinder youre target from attacking, BUT if you continue to fire it will break and you have just wasted a shot.. From experience i think its nice using if melee (Jedi) or even ranged targets get to close or do to much damage. Fire it and untarget them, get to a "safe" distance, heal (using Instant Stim D´s) and continue youre attack, maybe with a /underhandShot as youre opening move!
Smuggler Underworld IV also grats you Last Ditch, this special is now pre-CU really a Last Ditch and i wouldnt recommend anyone using it until you have 1-500 Health left, the really good thing is that with a high damage Pistol you will be able to one shot incap if youre Mark dosnt have to high Health or high resistance Armor! I did a unarmored test and let a Master Carbineer attack me with all he had, only shot i fired the whole duel was Last Ditch and did 4.8k Damage (fired the shot when i had about 400/3100 Health left) and he went straight down leaving me with 100 or so Health left!
- So a good thing with this template is, you thow what you have at youre "mark". Starting off with some kiting, using youre most damageing specials as /criticalShot, /bodyShot and then when he/she get to close you fire youre /stoppingShot and get them rooted. When root breaks try landing a /underhandShot and KD them. Apply some states, like Dizzy with /confusionShot, Blind with /eyeShot, etc... And continue youre kiting (/burstRun if it should come to it) - Fighting Jedi will be a bit harder as a Pistoleer cause they will have Saber Throws at reach youre Max Distance so try and get a Cyber Arm that grants you +5 to youre Range meaning 40m, maybe CA or AA´s if you find or afford them!
As a old school Master Bounty Hunter and later Master Pistoleer when they dropped Scout i have stayed true to my Pistols even tho i wasnt to happy with the CU changes (Only thing was that i could drop Master Marksman and get Smuggler specials i have always wanted)! Max Range ruined a lot... 35m, its stupid concidering i am a Master!!!
Anywaym im retired and dont hunt anymore, so this is just what a retired MBH/MP has found usefull!
So heres my problem, I'm BH 0/4/4/4, medic 0/3/2/0, but i only have like 50 skill points left to allocate. I must be missing something, this puts me at CL43. Can I surrender any of the skills from marksman, or would I even want to . Any help would be great.

My temp exactly. I like it, seems to be pretty versitile. Doesn't help when you're in a group of 8 lvl 80's and can't hold a candle to the group of 5 jedis that keep storming through. =/

I wanted to make my template so i could take on full jedi templates. With Master BH / Master Rifleman / Marksman / Scout 4000 / Medic 0200 / Pistoleer 0030.
But i have invested my skill points in combat prowess and reflexes. so i dont have enuf skill points to make the template i want. But what i did is target everything on dmg. Im going to get 25 ranged acc and speed tapes. That way ill do more dmg and hopefully take down a full jedi template. I killed a MLS/MP yesterday. 226K jedi.
But im not sure on what kind of food and drinks i should use. Im currently using: Ruby Bliel, Crispic, Blob Candy, Brandy, pikatta pie. Is there any food /drinks i have missed?
I need some help with with my template. How to make it better.

I always chose MBH/MSL. Since I have some FS skills, I can't have MSL, but MBH/SL works fine too. MBH gives me a wide array of weapons to choose from, and SL gives me a place in groups that most groups don't have. It still gives me general accuracy and speed bonuses that can be used on any weapon, so with SL I still get good damage/speed/DPS for all my weapons. The SL weapons are awesome too! This isn't an uber combo, I don't play this game to have the best template. Still, at CL 71 I don't have a problem winning 2/3 duels vs CL 80 non-jedi.
