What stops FD from working you say? Being a Smuggler is the first way to get FD not to work. screwed since the CU

Yeah, except for out of the maybe 12 timesI FD'd on Dant today against Voritors it worked twice

FD is my favorite smuggler special. I think the key is to not use it at the very end. You pretty much know right at the begining of most fightswhat the outcome is going to be. If things go sour towards the end of a fight, I use LD. But to answer the question, I have been dizzy and stunned and still used FD, but I don't remember ever trying it while knocked down.

I think Florida and Ohio are the culprits.

It also helps to be standing still and not aggroed by everything in the zone heh.

I was helpping some people take out some rebel PvE bases last night and when I would successfully feign death, I noticed most of the time my toon would get up by himself, even after just sitting there awhile.

Anyone else?

I was doing one of Jabba's missions (without armor), I needed to FD which i did - the mob proceeded to hammer me until capped !

yea i've stood up byself sometimes (buggy) but the mob still breaks aggro for me. i still use FD postCU religiously..

I'm not saying it's not brilliant when it works I'm just saying you have to be careful with it.

they fixed feign death, didn't they? it doesn't work in pvp. i suspect you mean avoid incap? if that's the case, it only lasts a few seconds, so all you have to do is hunker down and play 'D' with duelist stance and your stims until it runs out. AI sucks the force out of them when they use it. then all you have to do is quickly unload your high damage specials before he can hit it again.
