can someone tell me how to get and keep off bh terminals, i now understoond you cant use force infront of people oke, so shall i use only saber at gurk hunts or so ? please reply on this im -300k jedi xp .. and i only get 700xp a kill

well right now jedi are pretty much screwed, and ARE going to get on the terminals if they want XP... because of forcing people to group for xp, while you still get visibility for grouping and using your saber infront of your group.

but the basic stuff is don't do anything that is related to your jedi skills or having unlocked jedi infront of any NPCs or characters if you are within 32 meters of them.

(32m i think but im not really sure, its 30-something)

No, Jedi are not screwed. You just need to be careful and have a plan. Jedi are never supposed to be easy (but it's actually very easy now). Don't join random groups and take care not to get visibility until you're ready for BH visits. You can still group with friends without getting visibility (just ask them to stay 32m away from you). Yes it's a little slow at the beginning, and you need to be patient. When you have some decent Jedi skills (like 2000 healer and 0002 enhencer) and a mastered combat profession, you can start to hunt with random hunting groups and get quick xp.

I got padawan last month and now already have about half my skill points spent on Jedi skills, without any xp lose along the way. I play a few hours a day, and still play my WS alt and grind my unlocked alt sometimes. Compared to pre-CU, leveling a Jedi is extremely easy now. Just don't grind it the way you grind swordsman.

ofcourse not solo cuz with lightsaber alone i do 300 max damage and i was doing it in a full group on gurk lairs .. people were watching out for bh's to tough, but they come in to darn quick, i get killed in 5 shots .. and i need to get healer 2000 to make some nice health regain fast or i keep getting killed, the only problem is il never get that amount of xp cuz i keep getting killed

What are your non-Jedi skills? At such a low level Jedi you should be able to use the little healing you have and your non-Jedi skills to take on the average BH. By the time you get 2xxx healer you will be able to take on most BH.

Some common non-Jedi skills that go well with Jedi are:

TK - CoB is very nice, inate armor as well.

Doc - Buffs and healing are handy.

CM - debuffs, healing, and DOTs

Rifles - damage

Pistols - damage and root

Play around with PvPing with your non-Jedi skills and get the hang of it. The top of a Guild hall is a good spot to duel.

Suggested order of training:

3xxx healer (great healing)

xx2x LS (area attack to ensure you hit everything once, even if you drop it later it is well worth the xp to pick up early)

xx4x Defender

after that it all depends on your template.

Try to hunt with large groups so that you can maximize your xp/hr. Build up a network of same faction Jedi to grind with. Dont bother trying to grind if you know your on the terms and there are fewer than 4 people in your group.

Hmmm, every time a Bounty Hunter kills you, it should wipe your visibility from the terminals. Make sure that you aren't around any other players at all, especially alts (this seems to be one that people innately forget). Through my grinding I got into a habit of always unequipping my saber after each lair. Along with that, I say be sure to have the ctrl-m map up as you can usually spot flybyers before they get within 32m. My final suggestion is to scout any lair to be sure that there are no NPCs around at all.

Besides these suggestions, it is tough to say why you are getting on the terminals without being there and really knowing what you did wrong, if you did anything wrong at all. I have heard about the BH terms not clearing visibility when a BH completes their mission on you.

That doesn't happen as it should anymore. Groups cause such a high ammount of vis that there are often multiple mission packs issued.

ah, well then this begs the question, Iesent, were you grinding in a large group, or just solo? I can't imagine a way to generate huge amounts of visibility solo unless you were in the middle of a pack of NPCs or worse yet, killing the NPCs.

don't use force or ignite your saber within 32m of any players or NPCs.

If you're already on the terms, don't do anything to cause visibility (see above) for 3 weeks, and your visibility should decay. Any BH that are already holding your mission MAY still be able to bounty you, tho. Also, getting bountied SHOULD remove your mission from the terminals and fail your mission for any other bounty hunters who have it at the time that you get DBd by the BH on your mission (some claim this isn't working, tho)

When I started out in group hunts I would put up a house near the lair at each lair and pick it up after each lair if a BH shows up run into the house and wait it out or log out and log onto your alt. and check to see if he is gone. It is a little time consuming but it works great just keep your eyes pealed and burst run to house if needed.

Good Luck hopes this helps
