Thread: LOL don't post hate threads
thats an intresting concept of a Player bounty system. the fact that the rebels/imperials/and gang factions all had differnt laws on their planets would be a good way to incorperate player bountys into the game (if it could be worked out right)

the jedi ruined kotor????? omfg .... at that time line the sith had an army and the sith were like everywere, what do you mean the jedi ruined the game??? you only seen a few light jedi,I think that game kicks a**,they kept to the story line.Unlike Swg,I mean if I ran SWG i swear to god I would listen to the players and what they wanted,Id make jedi much much much more rare and so hard to be a jedi,I would make them strong as hell but very little of them, and I would let bhs hunt more then jedi players and npcs,I would let them hunt anybody who broke the laws of that certain area, for example if u were on jabbas turf and you broke his law,you would be put on a jabba terminal,or if you broke a law on imperial turf you would be put on a imp terminal.

25,000 credits says they won't do it. Probably because they say it's too much of a change of game code or too much thinking to get it to work right(yes programming is hard, but this game in it's present state is just laughable).
Fact is that many BH's have great ideas for a bounty system or changes to the current system, but they tend to get overlooked.
only 25k oh well? i said it was an intresting concept not that i thought itd be implimented theres been better ideas then this one for a BH system.i mean FFS if the devs was gods we'd onlybe one leg and the rest of the body would be on their to do list. now this would be a HUGE change in codeing if they was going to do this and thats the main reason why they wouldnt try to code it.
when i use to play on chilastra a friend of mine had a saying it went like this
"if its a good idea then you know the devs wonteven look atit"

They didn't ruin it for me. They ruin SWG but not KOTOR. In KOTOR the Jedi are controlled responsibly to react to you as true to the storyline as possible.
In SWG Jedi are allowed to do pretty much whatever the heck they want, including light Jedi going on massive killing sprees and acting more like Anakin than Obiwan or any of the other members of the Jedi order.
Blame SOE for that. THEY have allowed Jedi to be this way from minute one of Jedi implementation. Padawan trials? Kill things. Advance in XP? Kill things. It was the "easy" way out, to not have to develop a REAL system to promote Jedi.
Face it, the hatred is being bred purposefully by SOE for some unknown reason. Perhaps it's to be able to kill the game (As some have posted) so they can focus on EQ only. Perhaps it's a way to advance the storyline (Having Jedi become so unpopular nobody wants to play one) so that it no longer conflicts with the timeline. But for some reason, there *IS* hatred being sown on purpose, and unfortunately, some players have gotten so vehement that instead of seeing that SOE has caused the problems, they choose to instead blame fellow players.
Only as PLAYERS (Not Jedi, BH, TKM, what have you) can we let SOE know what's wrong, and what we really want. Allowing IN GAME mechanics, bugs and Exploits to pollute the rational thinking outside of the game isn't serving ANY of the playerbase in good stead.
If Light Jediwere more like the Jediwere in the movies who playSWG,then I wouldn't be hunting them, I'd only be after dark. But seeing as Light and Dark hardly makes any difference, I have no moraltendencies holding me back from just killing them all.
