i just got a scatter made, 2.1 125-234, got a spd slice

I think you'll find less people with a 40% stun psg and 40% stun armor than you will someone with 80% acid protection. Riflemen with DXR6bs made acid helms popular. Besides damage works like this say you take 1000 stun damage you'd then take 40% off from the PSG (yes I know you can get better than 40%) and you have 600 damage then take 40% for the stun armor you're left with 240 damage. If you take it off in one 80% shot you only take 200 damage. So given that and the fact that even the best shields still wear out quick....the geo is better against armored opponents, generally.

I got a De-10 today and to be honest I'm disapointed in the results vs armored opponents. I have'nt tried it vs a jedi yet but now that I read this thread I will. With a power up its like 205-480 damage 3.7 speed. It also shoots fairly slow compared to a geo or scatter when using specials. My geo is 370 max damage like 2.4 speed powered up and it drops opponents much faster than the De-10. Right now I'm wondering what I spent 3.5 mil on . I only paid 500k for the geo.

What is the best BH pistol out there. That is to say, whats the most effective?

Depends on what you want it effective against. I have a decent damage sliced krayt scatter pistol that I usually use and prefer over others. It does acid damage and has no AP though.
I find it more a matter of personal taste than anything. If you want better pistols, take up pistoleer to get the certifcations for others.

Attack speed: 1.95
Damage: 342-749
Accuracy Bonus: 17
Wound: 31.05%
Estamated base DPS: 278.78 /sec
Your modified DPS: 448.77 /sec
Range: 0-35 m
Special attack cost: 99
Now i think that is not good but what how good can a scatter pistol get? Also what gun would be the best for a master bh/ pistoleer?

I have a 916 max damage scatter, but I cant recall the stats off the top of my head. I think that the High Capacity Scatter is the best gun though for MBH/Master Pistoleer, if you can find a good one. Most pistols dont get to 1000+ damage, though.

High Capacity Scatter will cap out through crafting with good krayt tissue at around 948 max dmg.
The highest dmg pistol I've seen is a pre-cu convert that's 998 max with no pup and 1137 w/ a pup.

I have a feather weight fwg that is:
spd: 1.98
dmg: 351-935
sac: 65
All these stats are after slices, but non modified.
with a pup my max damage caps at 1055
Scatter is nice for wound, but over all I prefer fwg

My Scatter has an Estimated DPS of 320 with Special cost of 95ish. But I don't use it due to the range cap, have a rifle with the same stats and all the range.

Well here is the pistol I use. It has worked pretty well for me.
Trandoshan Suppresor Pistol (Kashyyyk loot item)
Energy
Attack Speed: 2
Damage 358-715
Elemental Type: Electrical
Elemental Damage: 120
Base DPS: 328
SAC: 75
This is without a Power up or a slice. I intend on getting another one of these and damage slicing it, then putting a nice powerup on it. It should really rock then. Just in case your curious my modified DPS with this is 550 without pup or slice.

I use a featherweight FWG5.
I don't know the stats off the top of my head, but I can tell you this:
I have an average DPS of 417..that is without ANY pistol skills at all. I'm a MBH/Master Ranger, so my speed is horrible.
This gun is unsliced and un pup'd, so the DPS is actually pretty danged low
It has +41 accuracy. The featherweights give a +15 accuracy bonus, and my WS put a +26 accuracy scope onto it.
Sliced/pup'd with pistoleer skills that thing would be nasty.
