I remember reading somewhere that SEA's cap at 25. So if you had 30 Melee Defense in SEA's ya'd only get the benifit from 25. What I want to know is does this count in BE clothing. So if I have 25 Melee Defense in BE clothing would I already be capped and any SEA's would be a waste. Same question for stuff like the ranged defense ring. If the BE clothing doesn't count towards the SEA cap, does it have a cap of it's own?
Sorry if this has been asked before. Thanks in advance for any replies as well.

If I get a SEA with a good mod, but with perhaps two other useless ones, is there a way to cancel out the useless mods?

You could put it in a clothing item with 1 socket (if good mod is the highest bonus), but there's not much point to doing that.

Hi
Noob question here
If I use a ca/aa in non-protection armour like gloves or boots and the condition goes down to 1, will the ca/aa still be active?

Do I apply aa before converting it?
Or just keep it in old composite form?

aply it befor converting, and then convert...this will give you 2 extra socket while keeping the previous mod you would have putted in
so you should get total of 6 socket...is'nt that great!

Yep, they do, as you've noticed maybe if the tapes affect your weapon speed you can easily check this.
Unequip the armor part or clothing part and check your weapon stats (equipped) put the armor or cloth back on and check stats again.
I have clothing parts totally broke with the AA in it but they still work.
