Bounty Hunter Archive
Thread: This one goes out to the honorable and mature BHs.
OK, I had Bounty Hunter 3/4/4/4 and I respecced the rest of the way, getting rid of commando, which I ground. I don't consider myself to be a respec BH, because I was so close that I was able to experience how much it sucked to get my ass handed to me on all the double gold 82 boss marks. Now I'm a fairly good Bounty Hunter. What do you think? Do you concede that I don't count as a respec BH? Cause I don't. I swear.
Also, I'm not the kind of person that will spit on a mark or something, or send the dude tells about how much he sucks, or how muchI rock. I will fight diiiirty. Very dirty, in order to get the kill in. It's a job, and I do it as efficiently and effectively as I can, with the minimum cost to myself, including armor damage. The only thing some Jedi don't like is that I have a kill macro that goes:
/deathblow;
/pause 15;
/say Thank you for being killed by Suckapunch Hits, LLC. Have a GREAT day!
If BH dont try to get you when you step out of teh shower its no fun... they should only give you some respect after you have made them sit around... follow... fight... whatever after 30 or 40 min. Then they should give you some respect, becasue you are not some pitiful newb saber dude, and they must not be a pitiful respec BH to have followed you =P Good Fights are Rare, Ty Daifire, best Bh fight/Rematchyet!
Thats how I see it... DB/Lowblow fights to teh end!!!

I only just recently became a BH and already I have a much better reputation then most of the BH's on my server. I would guess mostly because a lot of BH's on my server are respec BH's and have no clue as to the actual type of dedication it takes to grind it out.
You need to grind 3 different weapons xp + the investigation tree = a lot of time spent grinding. Took me about1 week give or taketo grind out BH as opposed to the 1 or half a day it would take me to grind just about anythingthing else. (Minus Jedi of course)
Here's something shocking:
The CH grind is now WAAAAY longer than the BH grind.
Because once you hit MCH, just like when you've achieved padawan status in Jedi, the grind has only begun.
The highest level pets you can tame now in game (CL 70) require in excess of 4 million creature XP to reach their full potential.
Four million. Per pet.
That's more than the entire BH grind from novice to master, across the board, to include invest.
This assumes, of course, that you've managed to learn the special abilities you need to train the pet up to its full potential, too. Which is by no means certain, it's a matter of luck, and intense grinding in and of itself to obtain those specials. On creatures that you will most likely delete from your datapad seconds after they've given up their special ability.
You make it sound so... dirty.
