While his history in the "Tales of the Bounty Hunters" book is kind of cool, I don't like it to be honest lol. Like a previous poster mentioned, someone like that isn't going to work for Jabba the Crimelord and king of spice peddling. They don't kill each other in the end, out of a deep respect for each other and all the years playing hide and seek. And also likea previous poster mentioned, they both show up in the NJO.

I personally think that people who are in the anti-EU camp are seriously missing out. I think that the NJO is one of the most incredible stories ever and should be right up there with the original movies and clone wars era movies.

Went off on a rant there sorry lol but hey, NJO is the coolest.

P.S. Han and Boba Fett are two badass characters in the Star Wars Universe.

Didn't IG-88 get killed by Dash Rendar?

One of them did. There were four or five of the same droid, working together under the same conciousness.

Edit: One was killed by Rendar, two were killed by Boba Fett trying to steal Solo from him, and the last uploaded himself into the main computer of the second death star. Which was, of course, sploded.

I thought Fett bagged 3? One on Bespin with an ion cannon surprise, then 2 over Tatooine- 1st after jumping out of hyperspace then 2nd by tricking D into overshooting him in a dive

And according to TotBH, there were only 4 IG-88s... so where does Rengar fit in (never read Shadows)?

yea, dont remember nuttin about no Dash. I just remember that Boba got one with an ion trap in Cloud City, then bagged another two over Tatooine. He tricked one into making an overlengthy jump through hyperspace, even though the jump was only about a mile or so. The other he shot down as it tried to intercept him. IG-88 numbers 2 and 3 decided at the last moment that the reason they were losing was that he was unpredictable because he wasn't using programs to fly and think. They uploaded their minds into the 4th IG-88, who was in the Deathstar, and who toyed with Palpatine by closing the elevator door in his face.

Man, I'm a GEEK.

You're riiiiiiiight. I haven't read that book in at least a couple years, I must have lumped the two over tatooine into the same one.

There were 5 IG´s. One of them didn´t join the other 4 and he also didn´t have IG 88´s core downloaded, unless I´m all lost here... Don´t have the book here so I can´t check it. Not sure where he went off but I seem to remember he also became a BH/Assassin.

IG-72 was the name of the robot who decided to remain independant from the other IG models(You can find IG model droids in the droid engineers cave on lok )

He self destructed in the end in an attempt to kill Adar Tallon, killing Tatooine prefect Orun Depp in the process
