Thread: DEV's, Can we keep the GOD MODE BOSS MARKS for a higher chance for good loot.

Maybe you all should read the correspondents post about what is wrong with the NPCs, and you would have a clue with what is wrong with them.


People are giving feedback including Boss NPC targets regenerating faster than certain MBHclvl 80templates can do damage. Other Boss NPC targets, use CDEF pistols and do no damage to us whatsoever, and are easy to kill. Other Boss NPC targets are clvl -1.These are just a few examples of what people are saying. You want them to keep Boss NPC targets the same? Do you understand what you are asking and realize how foolish this is now?


I understand certain people would like a more difficult Boss NPC target with a higher chance of awesome loot, but when the dev's didn't intend for Boss NPC targets to vary in difficulty so greatly, they need to fix that before you ask them to tweak the difficulty and loot drop rates, or you will just add to the current existing problem.


Don't argue with me you'll lose.

With the new A.I. i can have as much fun taking NPC missions as i do when i hunt Player Jedi with 1 major difference. The NPC's don't sit in a house afk only to grief us wasting our play time.


Not all players think everything should be soloableand easy.

well after this snare/root patch went in i dont blame jedi a bit for hiding in ther house. if they cant get a chance to get close enough to hit us even 1 time. i dont think snare or root should be removed though but it should kinda work like knockdown does a 30sec reapply timer set on the target after the effect has worn off preventing any possible way of chaining snare/rootiting with 1 or more attackers. and combat medic snareneeds brought down tothe other snare timers. 2 min snare is bull$hit

I like the new NPCs also, but I dont honestly believe that they will stay the way there are. I figure this is a side effect of making the higher level MOBs more difficult and it just carried over into BH marks. When i first started grinding investigation, i remember pulling a mission as a cl22 and getting a cl45 marks and having to use a droid to help me win the fight or keep the mark occupied long enough to regenerate my heal after i got incapped so that i could attack again before the mark regenerated. I dont know if that was a bug then or not, but that was one heck of a challenge and what i thought BH was all about. The loot if got then was junk from what i remember also.


So i say keep the marks the way they are. This is supposed to be a profession of elite combat professionals that hunt down and attack a target for the purposes of killing it for money, but no one can expect that all the targets will be pushovers with a wad of cash in thier pockets. If i lose a mission every now and then and cant kill the mark because he is more powerful than me, it only makes the BH jobseem closer toreality. I dont know if the new difficult of the marks is a mistake or not, but i hope they atleast keep some of them in this range.

Go check out Mustafar!!!


Boss with 400k hitpoints will be about as close to GodMode as you can get!


Seriously, if you're looking for high level content then I would suggest thinking about the new epxansion. Yes, you can effectively hunt Jedi there with little concern about the hunt. If they happen to jump in the lava you can wait for them to clone then jump in yourself. There's only one place to clone on mustafar and it's sure to become a bottleneck.

Im enjoying this bounty hunter mission bug. I only hope it takes them as long to fix it as it did to fix the seekers not being used up when used to track target. Then we can have a fun game for a good 1 1/2 years.

I think I would prefer a mission terminal that actuall said what level of mark you were going after would be better. *sigh* I persoanlly don't like the insane regen + 30k Hams on the Marks.


I like a smarter AI, I like more of a fight, I also want a chance to play where I don't need 200k+ Bufff foods on my person all the time just so I can play.


I liked being able to just have two foods, well one & brandy and that would see me through. I've watched all the vids folk made of how they killed the New Uber 82 Gold Chevrons. They had so much food/drink etc that is is a wonder they don't grow fat from them. (mild sarcastic humor implied.)


Yes we needed npcs with a bit more of a fight in them, The only ones I saw with decent action Pool use were the Rebel SpecForce (insert name) mobs., and that was during Beta. I think if the AI paid for the SACcosts, like we do, and had a 'regen pace' like we do, I might not bith too much.


But, as it stands, I'll prolly work my way up to COlonel so I can have an ATST as a back up for Bhing....

Sad I know, but if the Devs don't fix things, It's likely the only way to make a decent go of it, with out gorging on food.


I dunno, maybe I'm not as hard core as some players, but I don't like this 'Instant regen' or Health that is 10 times greater than mine, on a humanoid mob. I could see it on Kryat, but a human npc... no way jose.
