How did I know this thread was going to be about this? I have used that tactic for a good while, but there are BH's out there that are smart enough to take their mark's name off the list.
It's not really a new tactic, but fairly little known among those inexperienced Jedi and BH's.

yes, please explain how its an exploit. In order for BH A to track jedi B, jedi B must have BH A in his friend list.
No he doesn't. If you as a BH has Jedi A on your friends list, all the jedi has to do is type /findfriend "yourname" and he will be given a waypoint.

I don't keep any jedi marks on my friends list. Instead I have a macro just like that one. All the known jedi who I hunt or may hunt are on it. You can use to see who's online too and then not rely on your own friends list.
no reponse from macro for jedixxx = jedi offline
unknown location for jedixxx = jedi online
updated waypoint for jedixxx = jedi has you on their friends list and is online

Yes, but by putting Jedi A on your friends list, you know if he's online before you take his mission/waste a droid. It seems odd that a paid assassin would be given the title "friend" by the game for nothing more then typing /addfriend.

Meh, guess it isn't new. My bad. I'm fairly new to the Jedi hunt and hadn't head about the marcroing of findfriend. I knew people used it, I just hadn't heard about the macro. So when I found the thread I thought it was interesting.

Well, this is new to me i am sure others of you have seen this.
Now i am not saying this jedi was exploiting. He was just useing what the game lets him.
Found my mark today and attacked him. The next thing i know i have his pet a gurrak cat on me. This pet would intim and change my posture constantly. If i changed my attack to go after his pet then the jedi would heal states and have full attack on me. Made it very hard to keep states on the jedi with his pet putting intim and changing my posture all the time.
His pet had 13k ham i would think it was buffed.Becuase iwear no armor going after jedi his pet was doing full damge to me. Any suggestions how to deal with this in the future?

Weararmor and concentrate on the jedi, try to ignore pet as much as possible, if your are imp faction you could bring AT-ST, or use adroid and have it attack the pet to keep it busy.

I carry a dizzy/kd cat for FR2'ers and a falumpaset for swimmers (they are so tall they walk through most water so you can keep attacking em
)
Great tactics from the Jedi... you just need to learn from them

I think they fixed it so even when they set foot in water they are considered swimming
