Lol, you can report ppl for regening in their house? Thats new to me. I dunno, I just don't think a TKA should be able to own me so hardcore... I did well over 200k damage to him, and he only did about 12k damage to me. The problem is, I didn't want to keep wasting my money fighting him... it was getting to a point where its going to cost me lots of money to continue the fight, it obviously wasn't turning.
BH's need a skill to finish poor jedi off... something that does a LOAD of damage to a heavily wounded Jedi so they don't say oh, look 800hp, lemme heal... something like Stasis Shot or something cool sounding like that... that freezes them for longer than a knockdown, lets them run around, but no healing... Then if a Jedi gets too sloppy, we can actually win... the way it is now, it just takes for bloody ever.
I can tell ya one thing, I'm never hunting solo again.

If you were "owned" by any melee profession, whether he had some jedi or not, you shouldn't be telling everyone that it is unfair, the guy is lucky he even stood a chance with the advantages ranged player have or melee at the moment,
It is unfair. Jedi should have all of their other skills wiped as soon as they become a padawan. Make Jedi less attractive at the beginning of it, but make it more attractive at Knight. Those who can't handle it, won't do it and those who can handle it will be Jedi Knights and Masters. This will eliminate the influx of young Jedi. We already have too many, this would slow that down. Also, it would validate to anyone who made it to Knight and beyond why they should be so uber. Right now, because anyone can have a Jedi, it doesn't validate why they should be so uber. To many, it is seen as the one profession that has broken the GCW and normal PvP.

The good thing about public forums is that ANYONE can post in ANY thread they wish... you have the choice of not reading them... so Deal with it.

So not only is he a thief and a liar, but apparently he is a disgrace to the Bounty Hunter profession by not being able to finish off a newbie Jedi.
Sorry to bring stories of this theiving piece of S**T into the the sacred Bounty Hunter forums but being a long time non respec MBH and seeing this a$$hat talk about not wanting to spend his stolen credits on stims just pisses me off!
How did he steal some ones credits?
Oh and this thread is pathetic lol. I agree with the pile of crap part, this guy is a tool. "I wish BH had an /Iwin button", blah moron.

Some TKA Jedi was hitting me for 500 without using any force powers... through armor. He was only a 68k Jedi on the terms... yet I got killed. In all fairness, the game was really bugged, and he was disappearing yet still hitting me. He also ran to his house to regen his force one time. I kinda think it ended when I was mad at all the stims I was using, just to bore through some more fighting. The fight lasted about 45 minutes to an hour. Sucks to end up losing.
He was so happy he beat me that he gave me 200k though... so whatever. Im still upset that I lost.

As a BH myself, I find it more than a little funny that you were taken down by a Jedi worth 68k. I know the game, everyone hunts the low payout Jedi to get an easy kill, and it looks like this guy found a way to make that kill a little less easy.
From my experience, melee is pretty easy to own as a ranged BH. I've seen a few clever players who can give me a good run, but it sounds like this battle would have been a blast to watch.
My 2p here as well, A jedi worth 68k, that is still level 80 or thereabouts, is likely to still have an elite profin his template. 68 points into jedi is nothing. Add his 24 SP from FS, and he still has 158 points to play with. An Elite master only takes 106SP.
The easy kills are the people that have taken the 5 novice boxes, and are still low level on the critical must have jedi skills. I think someone in the 120k range will be an easier kill. Having said that, Master defender , healer 4xxx and MAster Rifleman has the benefit of Jedi defenses, a rather nice force pool, nice healing, and really good ranged offense.
Jedi worth? 117k !
My point is, do not judge the jedi book by it's cover. A horror story in a comic book cover could well be waiting for you.

Im not sure what youre talking about here. Killing the lower level jedi is easy enough. thats pretty much why most bh's only hunt the easy one's. Only those who relish the challenge go up into the 100k or more. the 60k or about there are the ones who get the most visits. You don't need any more skills to take them out. This guy was just a better pvp'er than you and should inspire you to get better at it yourself.

It was a server to server credit trade. Ech on Shadowfire paid up 50 million and got exactly 0 credits. As for me personally, I don't know Ech and I think that server trades are crap. They are risky and the devs have flat out said that the risk lies with the players, so while it sucks that it happened, it happened. What rakes my ever loving last nerve is that this a$$hat tried to justify stealing the credits and has apologized but has not paid back 1 credit to the offended party. And now, he just gloats about it in the Shadowfire forums. He's just a jerkoff and I pray that karma swings back andpunches him in the face.Message Edited by JaxonLuxor on 06-18-2005 11:21 AM
Ahh ok, this guy does sound like a tool.
