Well, I think we need to all push that this is a good idea and would make the intrest in climbing the investigation tree go up.


First add NPCs to current theme parks that give out a series of BH missions that end with a unique reward.



Then they could add in later the addition of the BH theme park.

This is one of the best ideas I have seen yet. It might actually give me motivation to stop taking and dumping investigation 1 as fast as i can type the word yes.

I think you're right Lemi. Since I never saw a reason to go master I decided to go Master CH and have surrendered my skills for BH to 0/0/3/4 with 2 points left. Since there is no reason for me to hit Master BH right now, I will stay where I am. A lot of people want the BH's as equals. Pistoleers use only 92 points to become a Master and have good reason to. Same with Riflemen and Carbineers. I would not consider these Elite classes anyways since you never had to Master a novice proffesion in order to get them. But they none the less have reasons to Master these Support Classes(the Devs have called them support classes). Bounty Hunter as everyone knows, takes 217. But we, who had to earn more than twice the amount of skills, should be equal. Pffffft.


The entire Investigation tree in BH has nothing that really matters to us, the droid skills are for NPC's only. And because of this, once you reach tier 4, it's completely useless as is most of the Scout skills that we had to learn in order to become a BH. Oddly, areaTrack: Player became a ranger skill instead of a Bounty Hunter skill, which could have been in the Investigation tree. If we had this and the ability to use our droids on PC's and be able to take player bounties, then Investigation 4 would be worth its weight in gold.


I do like the idea of theme parks though. Taking a few missions for Boba Fett because maybe they're not worth his time to waste on them or something like that.

Dope idea Lemi. Hopefully Wepps can get something going with this. Would definitly add some diversity and change to the Investigation line.

GREAT idea.... I think that each planet can have their own difficulty.... Maybe make Tat have the most difficulty, eg Level 4 Invest, to account for the seedy underworld.... They don't need to be big Theme Parks, but at least hand out some investigation XP that is higher than 10% of the payout rule now employed. You can work backwards as well - eg Level 3 people can do level 1-3, and they can build on one another.. maybe one reward for the Tat missions could be a Krayt tissue for example.. just make it better than the llc offered by the Emperor.. lol. Also have a wall of fame.. once a person completes it, their character IDautomaticaaly gets posted.. you can review by double clicking on the banner outside the bldg....


I know Wepps noted that the DEVs are working on fixing stuff now, then will work on content... fair enough.. but we need to keep this idea at the forefront...


If BHs will continue to require 233 skill pts to master, why not make it worth pursuing with extras like this and maybe lock out dabblers.. No dabbler I know will go far up investigation just to do the theme parks....

In your OFFICIAL RESPONSE post you said that Investigation Tree was your number one goal for the BH community.

so Im bumping this idea up again.

Because it would help bring some "fun" to the investigation tree.

I remember this idea. Didn't sound like it would be all that hard to set up either if I remember right. Also don't see why it would be so hard to have some faction aligned bounties that award a little faction. If I kill some guy who insulted Jabba why shouldn't I get a little Jabba faction?
