Well, CL difference doesn't apply in PvP (or last I heard. If this has changed please point me to a link so I can rethink the whole deal). And for PvE I'll be grouped with one CL 80 or so anyway, effectively making me CL 80 for the hunt. So that's not a big issue.
But you think with a good High Cap scatter and alternating adv crit / quickdraw with the doc adrenal boost to speed it all up won't do good damage? =/

Yeah not to mention stasis, root, snares, force Sap, etc they can also use on you. And CL does apply in PvP, it affects both your defense and your damage output. I PvP'ed quite regularly before I finished my template and I'm doing more damage now than I did then with the same weapons/attacks. I would highly reccommend getting to CL80.

Hrm, good points. I'd avoid toe to toe as I'd probably be using the +ranged arms to extent pistol range to 50m. Though I do see a hole in being able to kite since most Jedi are going to have combinations of force speed and force run. :/

Hrm, I've only PvP'd at CL 80 since CU so wouldn't have any basis for comparison. You doing more dmg w/ same attacks at CL 80 as opposed to at lower wouldn't be related to having higher accuracy now that your template is completed maybe?
Just curious, as I've heard (but again, haven't seen for myself - at least being posted by SOE) that the CL difference doesn't apply in PvP. If anyone has any link to some kind of remotely 'official' post on the subject, it would be well appreciated, and would help clear up a few other questions as well.
