That is a good tactic and does work as well, but a larger part of the problem is the Jedi fight is thought to be the "real fight", which more than likely is the case. Which brings us back tobeing just a number.Which ever side's Jedi wins will more than likely win the battle, depending on how close of a fight it is.

you will be suprised how many people love massive pvp battles
Pre CU mass pvp was about as much fun as you could have with your clothes on, post CU mass pvp is about as much fun as a Dentist waiting room. Although it has often been stated that insane Doc buffs and 80% composite were unbalancing, in mass pvp they were quite a leveller. Everyone had them, everyone was "uber". Now no-one has them and only one profession is "uber" = no fun for the non-jedi who feel they are only there to make up numbers
PvP can be fun but lately, all I hear is "we need more Jedi", from non-Jedi. And from Jedi I hear "You NEED me". Blah blah blah. I think we are too reliant on Jedi in my opinion. Non-Jedi are the B$%$h classes *cough* I mean Beta in alot of cases. We arn't really that important, more or less just a number but we can feel important when we get a group of BH together and each BH has their role in killinga Jedi, but thats about it as far as Jedi involved combat goes. The rest is "can I survive long enough for our Jedi to kill their Jedi?", especially if there are multiples of Jedi involved. It wouldn't be so bad if there weren't so many in one conflict.
*Now take a shot for everytime I said Jedi!*

Not when the usual tactic now is kill all the non-jedi first and then let the Jedi get on with the real fight
