CAMRUX..I disagree..A good bh can also be the one that walks right up to you, and watches everything for awhile, and when you get bored and start dueling another jedi(which almost always happens), or start using force whatever in plain view 30 times, and then starts smashing you. Sometimes plain audacity is the best weapon.

HOLZEN...read carefully, before your post noone even called it an exploit, but read further and you can see that Tanks has already mentioned the above, so thnx anyway.

"A good BH hits his target before we ever have a chance to see you and question if you are a BH or not."

Not all BH hits are made while grinding. Many BHs rely on being covert inside cities in order to stalk their target. For example, you might see a guy buying something from a vendor -- and this guy is your mark. You shouldn't just attack him right then and there, since engaging a Jedi inside a vendor tent would be a poor idea (you'd have a few meters at max between you.)So it's better to wait when he's at the mission terminal, distracted.

this reminds me ofJedi running up to bh and sending trade requests to see if they had their mission.

Move Along Please

I remember a certan bug with the duel system that would enable a bounty hunter to keep a 1-way tef between the BH and mark. I'm sure some Jedi cheat.. But no need to make generalisations that the whole profession cheats.

At the moment, I'd be more worried of the fact that anybody with a few IV trees can wipe the floor with a bounty hunter. I had 3 bounty hunters come for me a few days ago, after killing all three.. I still had 50% force. I think there are bigger issues such as balance rather than "Waaa, they are all exploiters".

Mentioned it to devs last week.

Right now, what I do is use /note and write down the name of the Jedi that do /duel and restrict my bounty hunting to them

Geez, no way that anything can make you pleased

- First some BH used /duel bug for preventing Jedi to attack back

- Then Jedi used others to DB themselves by /duel and you whined about it

- They fixed it

- And now you are complaining again...

Tsk tsk tsk.

This is not good for the community. At least we were able to walk amongst them when we played smooth, now they can eliminate that threat easily. Tanks, please bring this to the attention of the devs.

Hunt higher level paddies and knights. They have no need for such things as duel macros.

I don't see this as a big issue.

Really, a group of Jedi are out in the boonies, and suddenly a lone dot comes rolling in...

hmmmm, maybe it's a BH.... Not to hard to figure out. A good BH would be able to use the enviroment to take his mark.

bigger issue is the BH tef not preventing the entry of structures...

the jedi will allwas find a way to exploit the system

after all it would have been way way to hard for the devs to add aauto refuse trade, duel, or ride request like the one they have in the options for group.

along with a default message when someone requsts such action like User is set to auto decline (insert request).

Pure ignorance that so comonly exists within the Bounthunter forums...

Oh man, this was SOooo damned annoying to be grinding nad having various Jedi spam you with trade requests then /beg you to open trade window.

*there used to be about 4 or 5 that would do it EVERY time in Geo labs and DWB.
