Thread: Being a Bounty Hunter is about style, not power
thanks rheso.... I wish i was in your server. I sent a huge HUGE application to a Bounty hunter guild leader. I never got a responce so i /telled him. I asked if he was my email and he said "yes"....
it was discouraging.

I completely agree. Same about cybernetic arms: they may had something to your combat skills, but they just look AWFUL and RIDICULOUS. This is why I don't use the one I have, even if it could help me in being a stronger fighter.
I prefer keeping my character's integrity to being an uber combatant, and the consequence is that I adapt the difficulty of my missions by avoiding missions above 200k, since I know I can not complete them. Publish 20 will remove this freedom of choice.

I totally agree. Style and Tactics > Power, and of course, exploits. The most fun I had recently was stalking a 225k Jedi. In a straight up fight, I'd lose... my weapon is less than 500 modified dps, and I don't wear armour. But I stalked this person for 4 hours until he slipped up and let his health drop to about 600. I have no desire to be teh uber or have the best pvp template - just to have fun and a challenge

+1 for BH pistoleers! For the fun of it, during the post CU free respecs, I have gone to MR,MP and BH4000. It's fun, and I like the rifles, but I can never give up my pistols, not only b/c my character's name is ro-land deschain, but b/c I love the little guns. Since I'll have to use my token respec (thank God I still have it) to go MBH now, I guess I'll drop the powerhouse rifles again. Oh well. They are nice. But i love my DE10. que sera...
