actually thats incorrect because a single master BH wont have the speed, dmg or accuracy mods that a master rifleman will have.
however a master rifleman/MBH will be very pleased with this weapon.
I noticed above someone asked about the range on this, well pre-cu the lightning gun was more of a close combat weapon. post CU the range is the same as a rifle, 65m
it requires 5 identical tissues to make a krayt version. 1 tissue for the initial draft schem and 4 that actually go into the weapon.

does rifle speed/ accuracy or heavy weapon speed/ accuracy mods work when this gun is equipped ?
p.s. i ask because the acid "rifle" was considered a heavy weapon and not a rifle .
ingame chimaera : durni
This weapon counts as a Rifle now, not as a heavy weapon, and gives Rifle xp, not heavy weapons xp. (also now encumbers like a rifle instead of a heavy weapon)

technically, you put 4 identical tissues in the gun. thus, you need a set of 5 tissues as 1 in used to create the schematic of the subcomponent.
i guess i should also mention that in order to cap damage, a set of tissues with a max damage stat of approximately 185 is necessary, i think. there are ways to lower that number to 155-ish, but that would cause the gun to have a much higher sac of approximately 20.
exxcelent, now if I could only get a krayt to drop tissue. KIlled over 100 today and not one pearl or tissue set.
The devs answered your prayers.
As of the hotfix today, both drop.

Their speed and accuracy isn't going to be near what a Rifleman could put out.

1) The main idea of the disputed sentence is now in bold. Genious #2, it is important to read the entire sentence at all times.
2) Genious #2, there is no rifle damage mod.
3) The majority of the time interval between shots is mainly charge-up/cooldown timers which are not effected by speed mods.
4) The value vs effect of the skill mod system is logarithmic. Its behaviour is such that a doubling of value gives a modifier with respect to the previous case of 1.271...
5) I never mentioned speed anyway. Damage Output. Not DPS. Not Damage/Time. Not Damage Output with respect to Time. Not Damage Output over Time. Damage Output. NOT TIME. NOT SPEED.
6) Since this post was purely of a capped HLR, and it is safe to say whoever owns a capped HLR probably also owns a couple speed and accuracy tapes, why would you even bring that argument up ? Tapes don't cap anymore.
7) Congradulations, I haven't been able to own two kids so badly who mainly were trying to argue points I hadn't even mentioned, when simply posting information trying to help inform their type. Simply incredible, maybe you two shouldn't be using this gun after all.
Bought one today and sliced it up real good.
I got:
Damage: 500-1034
Speed: 1.23 (my speed)
SAC: 84
Used it on some Rancors and some NSs and they did not like it. Neither did the STs that pulled me over on the way out either.
E11 Rifles only has a range of 45m !!!

CDEF andthe next higher rifleare also limited to 45m.

All CDEF weapons are ranged at 35m. Btw, the E11 would be considered a carbine as far as its appearance is concerned. Theres also a pistol thats basicly a stormtrooper carbine. (can't remember what those are called)

There's still the CL5 rifle (SG84?) with only 45m (or was it 35m too?) range. The point is, there are various ranges for rifles.
The pistol is a DH-17 pistol. There is also the DX6 (name could be wrong - the Tenloss-thing) Carbine version with 65m range.
Most ranged weapon types have a standard range, but there appears to be a few exceptions for each.

speed tapes offer such a non existant result that they have infinitely less effect than you're making rifleman specific stat mods out to give. I'd respond to the rest of your post in length, but it can be summed up with a simple use of the word "tampon".
