actually, all of those points are pretty much wrong.


Jedi's +20 combat haste > doctor haste which you can get anywhere from afk bots, in concert with the other doc buffs.


what other buffs do you mean? aura? pfft, how could you beat any melee at all if aura was so much of a problem?


saber issue: i've seen 500+ min crafted trandos, my saber is awesome for post-cu (i stocked up on premiums pre-cu) and with 593-697 damage, the trandoshan hunting rifle really shows it's colors. the majority of jedi are now post-cu unlockers who have sabers of usually 300-500 damage ranges, which suck so completely.


And since no one gets master healer because it sucks, the only heal a jedi has that would heal for more than a 4000 CM or MCM, total heal (with it's absolutely outrageous costs), is a non factor and the 4000 CM build heals more than a 4000 Healer jedi does (bactashot with a droid = 1600+, you cana also bactajab or toss in the interval of time).


So all those points are pretty much faulty.


Jedi's ACTUAL advantage comes from the range of abilities we have (my template has a snare, root, ranged KD, and some decent power specials) as well as forcerun, but now your snares will undo my forcerun, shich should allow you to stay out of the 32m saberthrow range.


With the movement changes, you shouldn't need to heal as much, and if you do, then you need to re-evaluate your template.


since jedi will no longer be able to effectively close the distance, open up with a snare at your max range or with cyber arms and if we're in the open we should be kite-bait. I however am still confident that i'll be able to use terrain to my advantage or capitalize onunskilled BH who allow snares, roots, and KDs to fail at keeping me out of 32 m. If i can get you into the 32m you're probably going to die.


IMO, you should be happy with publish 24, movement changes are totally changing the game.






(Yellow) When our buffs run out we can't rebuff like you guys can, unless we have Master Doc in our templates, and I only know ONE MBH who has that, and he isn't big on PvP. And the caliber of your buffs BLOWS AWAY doctor buffs. So IMO this point is not "faulty".


(Reddish) As BHs use pistols, carbines, and rifles, you point only applies to rifles. I prefer to use pistols, so maybe this was just a mirror of MY problem, but I'm sure a lot of other BHs use pistols as well.


(Purple) "...where do you get your delusions, laser-brains?" This may also be me mirroring my own problem, but Jedi seem to have better heals in general.


Fact IS Jedi can overpower us, and the only thing STOPPING that is heals. Kiting shouldn't be the only way to kill a Jedi or "combat" these nerfs.

MCM does not really lose out...they and MD will win out most likely because they will be needed in groups...

damn tanks are going to have to learn how to keep agro though....

No, they don't. can you not understand that 20< 25? doctor buffs are better than jedi buffs, and jedi cannot buff mind, action, or health, or disease/poison resistance. The ease of which the buffs are acquired makes the time issue somewhat moot don't you think? If your jedi is on dantooine, you're never more than 2 minutes away from being fully buffed again by an afk buff bot, and most if not all servers have afk docs in kaadara now too. as force speed is our ONLY "buff" i don't know what other stuff you're talking about or what higher calibur it's in.


I'm sorry that you use pistols or carbines, but many BH get those professions only for their specials, which are better than rifleman specials, but rifles totally blow pistols and carbines out of the water. you might wanna try just using a 550-1180 damage trando hunting rifle with your pistol temp and see how it works. you DO get a lot of general speed and accuracy bonuses you know. combined with food and tapes it's really not that hard to make up for lack of natural mods there. Also, if you find pistols or carbines to be an ineffective jedi hunting template, go to rifles, all templates aren't created equal you know. Jedi have known that since the inception of the current tree system.


well i'm sorry you THINK jedi heals are better than doc and CM heals, but they're not, plain and simple, aknowledged by the entire community. Bacta heals haveLesser cost, less time in between, and heals for more damage, better in every way.

so a jedi can heal for 1500 every 5 seconds or so right?

big deal.

anyone with CM4000 can heal for about 2500 in 5 seconds.

sounds fair to me.
