Sorry I'm not up on the GCW...the last I participated was back when the imps grouped up 50+ in Bestine to raid AH and the rebs would get 30+ to defend. We'd eventually repel then because we'd just clone and re-declare....but then an imp would pull an AT-ST and we'd all scatter.

But I digress......what's the difference between a PvE base and a SF one? Does /find imp [or reb] find both? If I was to convince an opposite faction spy to help me out, how would the PvE ones show up on his planetary map?

I *think* PVP bases have to be sliced in a certain order anyway. Could be wrong.

Being incapped and being dead are two different things. I could be incapacitated on my couch and still use a remote control. Oof!

Yes - someone else has already jammed it for XP - ride around on your swoop and set up a /find imp macro to locate a new base...

thanks for the /find tip. THis definetly works. One thing to note:

I could not jam the uplink while incapped or dead. As soon as my incap timer finished i could then see the option in the radial. Any base runners want to give some feedback on locating the uplink besides /tar. I just ran a "Tactical Base" and it was at the very bottom floor at the back of the left hand side of the room.

I always avoid the ones with the turrets too just to avoid wasting time since you can't enter until you kill them off. But hey, if they are fun, Bon Appitite!

yep. a huge waste of time. spent about 30 minutes destroying all 3 large tower turrets and then had to sprint all the way to the bottom floor. While i was doing the last phase of the jam, i was slain and it still let me finish it. Im glad i got the xp after all that work. prolly going to avoid those from now on

It's very hard to slice SF base. High level mobs, combat level is sometimes over 90 and theres many of them. I have been trying many times, I never get to the terminal hehe. Try PvE base. I think you must wait for server to restart to slice same again if you find one you like. =)

Thank god we can slice. I wanna have fun and in some days I will. ^^
